I am excited that Rob and Ryan are continuing to invest in the community. It would be nice if this action, outside of Wrexham AFC, would shut up the naysayers saying the duo will abandon the club and the community in short order. I know it won't, but the evidence is mounting that they are devoted to Wrexham for the long haul. Thanks for the update!

We absolutely enjoyed our taste of Wrexham Lager when we visited. During our tour and purchase there was a mention of possible availability in the USA. My wife and I both made ourselves very clear that we would be supporters of that!

I did a video on here about 12 months ago saying Ryan was looking to go into the beer industry. Forgot about it, then a few weeks ago heard it was done and dusted. Great for the brewery and the town.

Very positive development. To grow a brand of lager substantially outside of the domestic market will take tens if millions in investment over time.

I think Ryan especially will grow the brand rapidly simply because of who he is. Also, you only have to look at the popularity of his aviation gin and other adverts to know how he will work this.

Drank Wrexham Lager when it was 1s 9d a pint in the 1960s. It was good then and 50 odd years on the bottled brew I had recently was as I remember. Good luck and continuing success to the whole brewery team, town and football club.

Did it taste any different? I know the old Brewery was where Island Green is now and the new one is behind the Drs and Jones chippy in St Georges Crescent. I think they use the same recipe and even the same machinery?

There are a few from the national commercial brewers (like Molson founded in Montreal - 1 of the 3 along with Wrexham known as the oldest breweries in the world) - I forget the 3rd one Ryan mentioned. Vancouver and other parts of BC are known for their many microbreweries where many of them do produce a lager. 🍻

I can buy Wrexham Lager Export via the liquor store in Sweden. It is not available in the store, but it can be ordered directly from the brewery. Takes between 7 and 9 days.

You know the Titanic was built in Belfast. I went to the museum there , I think it sailed from Ireland too. We have a massive passenger liner that has been grounded for years not far from Wrexham. It just sits on rocks , quite sad.

I know, everyone I spoke to before the game thought we were going to get hammered, so glad we don't play them again until the end of the season now. They didn't seem to be able to handle the physicality of the team in the 2nd half once we'd figured them out. 2 BIG away games this month for us, you lot and Wycombe. The battle for 2nd place is going to heat right up

What is the “finest Welsh water” mean? Where does one find that?

It flows from the magical Snowdonia mountains, through the lush Welsh valleys. It passes through labyrinths were dragons used to sleep then over Minera mountain to Wrexham.

It's from the Gwenfro river which was first used to make lager when they realised it's water was very similar to that of the water found in Pilsen in Czechia, famous for inventing Pilsner beers and to this day makes what a lot consider to be the finest lagers in the world, water is everything when brewing lager, so the water used for Wrexham lager is why it's held in quite high esteem amongst British lagers, as other brewing towns such as Burton upon Trent can only make somewhat mediocre lager due to their water not being ideal for lager production.
