If the slayer army would heal, the two front war wouldn't be a problem. Slayers can kill Norscans easily enough, but not multiple times when they can't heal. The easy part of this campaign is that both of the early major settlement battles are easy (Hell Pit and The Tower of Khrakk). - In the first you wait out the menaces and with kill Skaven in blobs (Super early Skaven is weak af). - The second battle, if Azazel is in the settlement you lure and snipe him first (He flies beyond the wall while his troops do nothing), if not then it is very simple battle.

Got a bit of a nerf recently... Still valid but be careful not to overestimate yourself... Maybe start with gyrocopters but later upgrade to a thunderbarge doomstack... (Also got a bit of a nerf, but still very very strong!!)

Malakai’s campaign is one of my faves… but the only things in Khorne’s roster I ever had a sketchy time with (while playing that faction) was furies, bloodthirsters. And the occasional rampage. Khornate factions were pushovers other than that. What am I missing?

Haven’t played Malakai post patch but Mannn that looks like a lot of fun. So many decisions to be made. Either hold back the tide of norsca and focus arbaal/archaeon/astragoth or stretch yourself out in norsca with all that coastline

I think having camp abilities that use meat would be the best option. Have the abilities tied to top tier buildings and let them effect the part of the map they are in or juice up the garrison. Spend meat to reduce the time it takes to redeploy the camp. Spend meat to clear all corruption in a province. Spend meat to start an Ogre rebellion in a province as you throw a rager of a party and the drunk guests stumble out for some late night white castle. Spend meat to juice replenishment in the camp radius. Spend meat to get free vulture summons in the radius. Stuff like that.

I think there are a lot of potential solutions to the 'wasted meat' issue. Camps could just have the option to transfer meat at a high rate like you suggested, but i think CA doesn't want players funneling all of a factions meat around right to where it needs to be (Personally i think the "meat economy" is a bit busted but thats another issue all together). Alternatively, you could just add a feature to camps where they can sell their meat for gold. Or, you could give tier 5 camps a new stance where all of the meat they generate is evenly distributed to other camps. As for your suggestion to make it so we can pull units out of camp garrisons again, I have to disagree unless you're talking about also reverting the change made to paying for camp garrisons. If we aren't paying upkeep for a garrison, i think those units should be locked in the camp, exclusively serving as it's defense, just like a garrison. But, If we go back to paying upkeep on those units, i think it makes sense to be able to pull them out again. It would just be a bit much to have a free bank of elite units waiting for you whenever you need it, especially for a faction that has so many units with multiple turn recruitment times.

i might be here with the unpopular opinion but i think i do like the ogre camps how they are. Most suggestions for change kinda just turn them into on land black arks but its clear CA are trying to have them be their own thing. I do agree with the points of wasted meat but i would prefer a mechanic that allows camps to spend meat on something other than buildings instead of allowing meat transfers. I think that could be an interesting new thing for them instead of having large amounts of meat go toward nothing.

I'd love to start a conversation regarding what other systems access meat can be used for. One possibility could be to utilize meat as a resource to reduce redeployment speed. Although recent beta changes to the cooldown period going from 5 to 3 turns, we should consider making this option available at a significant cost to maintain balance. Personally, I would've kept it at 5 and required meat to speed up redeployment. Additionally, using meat as a temporary boost during battles could be an interesting mechanic. I didn't play Ogres before the rework, but I remember seeing that Ogres could use meat to enhance certain stats prior to combat. It might be worth bringing that mechanic back but at a higher cost for high-tier units to but a lower cost for low tier unit. However, if not probably balanced, low-tier units performing disproportionately well compared to other factions. Another avenue to consider is whether meat could be used as a tradeable resource, potentially not just among Ogre factions, but as a resource that interacts with other mechanics in the game. While Golg may not require additional gold, this could still add depth to the trading system. It would be cool if factions who could controlled some sort of animal type of resource could hire Golg for a certain amount of turns with a long cool-down and gold cost when playing as a different faction or even allow the AI to do this with some sort of warning and counter play. We could also consider allowing players to use meat to acquire Regiments of Renown (RORs) for a higher cost when deciding not to settle anywhere. I have some reservations about using meat to expedite the construction of camps. This could potentially allow Golg to rapidly advance to tier 5 camps within just the first 30 turns, which might be unbalanced. Regarding Winds of Magic, it seems that Golg's faction currently lacks a consistent method to increase it. Perhaps the Maw Sacrifice could provide more than a modest boost of +2 considering channeling stances offers more for several factions. We might explore the idea of increasing meat devotion to bring it closer to the benefits offered by channeling stances. However, if limited ways of increasing winds of magic is intended, keep it lower than what channeling stance provides. I love to hear what your thoughts. Others are welcome to chime in as well.

I think its good you can not take units out of camps because you do not have to pay upkeep on them. They should be defensive only, if you cant take units out of them then you can use them for attack.

Fully agree on all those points I would see no harm in the camps being similar to the black arks which essentially serve as recruitment centers for the dark elves To not be able to redistribute the meat makes also not much sense While i like it being stored somewhere locally it should be free to distribute where i want it Right now its only logic to give a camp the exact amount it needs for upgrades and nothing else. I do not like that logic especially when my army goes into a hard fight it may not survive If it dies the whole meat is gone, but it also would be if i give it to the camp Additionally why not let us exchange units from the camp to our army and the other way around? And while we are at it, why not let the camps move like an black ark (while some people may like the new "transfer" method. But i am open on that end 😊 ) Hope the devs listen to us ...

10:42 Couldn't disagree more. You have 300k surplus and a positive income, you're focussing too much on your economy and your armies are weaker than they could be. Get the bloodhost technologies and your post battle loot from all those armies will dwarf whatever money you'd save from upkeep techs.

When I played Arbaal I got his army to be completely free. It didn't matter which unit. No upkeep. I would be honestly disappointed if CA doesn't dial it back a few notches because Khorne is rather too trivial at the moment. It's way too easy, even on Legendary. You can even see it on this video. >300k in the bank turn 43. Very few races if any could do that before Omens of Destruction came out. Besides the economic factor I just can't see it being possible to lose a Khorne campaign right now. I dunno what they were thinking making Bloodhosts cost no upkeep with no supply lines. It's Changeling-tier.

Kairos as an early campaign recommendation? I understand your reasoning in terms of what his campaign teaches you, however it's one of the hardest campaigns in the entire game so incredibly newbie unfriendly. I mean sure you can overcome it either by sheer force or by migration, but a new player will do neither. I think that Balthasar Gelt is a better recommendation for a magic oriented playthrough as it's much easier than Kairos and his faction is all about the different schools of magic(well the default ones that is, not any of the faction specific ones) and actually utilizing all the different schools of magic rather than just spamming wizards of a single type. Since you recommended Elspeth as the Empire playthrough with Gelt/Volkmar as alternatives than you can just combine both the empire and magic playthroughs with Gelt. Which leaves an empty slot in the 5 recommendations, where I'd recommend a rush faction. Vampire Counts is the obvious choice but Khorne can work just as well. It's a nice contrast between focusing on protecting your backline which the first 3 factions(High Elves, Skaven and Empire) generally do to actually using your front line for damage rather than just holding the enemy at bay. As for which specific lords, Vlad is the most forgiving option and probably the best choice. Skarbrand is trickier, as while he's incredibly powerful, he forces you to go balls to the wall aggression to make the most out of his campaign. Since new players tend to air on the side of caution rather than aggression this means that either: A. New players will greatly struggle with Skarbrand knocking their heads against a brick wall. B. New players will adapt to his play style and force themselves to actually play aggressively and fully utilize his capabilities. Of course option B is the outcome you're looking for here but it's far from a guarantee to happen.

Its not possible now to subyugate Eltharion since turn 5 he is atacking the south and no longer recruiting at Tralinia. He has expanded and erasing orcs from the map

I was surprised when I saw that Mutalith Vortex is better at melee, I thought that such a anti-infantry support monster will melt quickly fighting against Slaughterbrute. I'd also like to see a video about Skarr, because non of other youtubers have shown how does his regeneration perform.
