Whats up gold autoworks I have an sl 500 2004 model it came from the factory of japan as a Bose speakers but i removed the factory screen and put an android screen but the sound of the bass it became noisy the guy told me you might need to change the speakers? Should I change the factory speakers and put Sony speakers or maybe pioneer speakers! What do you advise me to do bro!

Brandon I need some advice. My Aux battery in the back wouldn't stay charged so I replaced it because the old one would always take forever while driving for the aux to come on and get hot. Now the new one gets hot also but has this terrible smell. Not like rotten eggs but like sulfur or something makes me feel sick on the stomach. I don't want this car anymore man. 😂

did you have AWD or RWD, or does it even matter for the kit? I want to lower mine but also need to delete magneride and trying to find a lowering kit i can use is confusing me, IDK if I need to do a conversion first or find a lowering kit that is a conversion, I dont know enough about it all to make sense of it

All the rubber hoses are old and may be deteriorating on the inside, filling the system with debris. IMO, it's best to take the lines to a hydraulic hose shop and have the rubber portions replaced with new hose. And while at it, use 5000 PSI rated hose.

I have a big problem my seat won’t even move no more, I was able to get the 2 screws in then back out but I can’t get the 3 out in the front. What I gotta do. I hear a click every time I try to move the seat forward or back words but it’s stuck

Hi, i've bought a g500 from the UAE, i drove the car there and it worked really good. it got shipped with sea container to my country after 3 months I received the car, the battery was dead and i replaced it but when i turn the key I can hear the fuel pump work but when i turn the key to start the car it doesn't do anything, do you think it's the same problem with the fuse relay ?

I think the W220 range has bottomed out already. Nice examples, especially with V8 and V12, will start to appreciate in value. If you can bring back that S55 back to its original state, that would be cool. I have the Dynamic seats on my S500. Never understood why this option was not available on the C215.

I just love the way you show your appreciation and concern for your customers and viewers. Just bought my first SL500 a 2006 and have been watching and reading to learn about systems and functions. I’m coming over from the other side, formerly a Corvette owner. I’m 76 with back trouble and wanted a car that I can drive with comfort but still have a sporty ride and look. I think what you do is awesome for the enthusiast.

I’ve ALWAYS wanted this cat in my humble opinion the W220 is 2nd in best design next to its predecessor. I often think of buying one but don’t want to look like a “rich poser”. That’s not the case I just honestly love the art and appreciate the beauty of the car. And I also am concerned about the maintenance cost but my 2011 Lexus LS 460L probably is in the same class as cost for repair I would have paid $1150 for an O2 sensor but only paid $253 for it because the mechanic quoted $253 by mistake and they’re honest and stood by their word.

Remove the fuel sending unit from the tank and look inside with a camera. The tank has an internal fuel pump with plastic lines and a fuel pressure regulator. The lines become brittle and fall apart into pieces. The internal lines feed the internal bowl that in turn supply the external fuel pump. The system is designed to keep the bowl full to maintain fuel supply to the pump, even when you have a quarter tank or less. If any of the lines are broken, you will get a buzzing sound from your fuel pump, as it is sucking air and starving for fuel. If you maintain a half tank or more, you won’t have any buzzing noise. The fuel tank is designed to be thrown away and replaced with a new one , when it fails internally. Problem is, it’s no longer available from Mercedes, and if you buy a used tank from a junkyard, it’s probably just as bad as yours. I had to remove my tank, cut it open and rebuild the internals with special submersible fuel hose and stainless steel clamps. Luckily I was able to free up the internal fuel pump and reinstall it. I had to get the fuel tank welded with bronze after and only after several days of cleansing the gasoline vapors using a method in which we had to run an old diesel truck exhaust pipe into the tank and let it burn the vapors for about 3 hours a day , five days straight. It was a painful process but it worked.

My key woyldnt turn this morning. My fuse 7.5 is in the rear. I checked it and it was busted. Got a new one. When I plugged it in I heard an air noise going for a little bit and then it stopped but my car still won't turn over 😭😭

Funny I have a S500 2000. I don't have the fuse box on the passenger side, I guess I got a car that's called a pre-facelift so they didn't install it there. My 7.5 number 78 is located in the rear passenger seat. Woke up to go to work today went to turn my key wouldn't turn. I hope this works because my car actually is a great running car I don't have any problems with it at all. When I got it the airmatic system was down. Got that fixed, a little electrical problem cost me about 300. Stop and the fuel pump. At 212,000 mi my transmission went. Replace it for 2100, cars been a joy ever since. I recently had a blowout back in February. That caused my aromatic system to just act up, I got rid of the horror magic system and just put a regular suspension with spring and coils. Trust me, if you guys are having problems with your air mattress system just replace the suspension and you're good to go. I'm heading up to the auto parts store to grab these fuses I'll let you know if it works 🤞🤞🤞

this is basic knowkledge if you have any experience with modified cars, the real major problems that you'll run into with ABC delete is going to be the lack swaybars on the car because factory ABC suspension doesn't need sway bars, you'll have to swap sway bar and control arms from the same model of your car without the ABC suspension to do a proper coilover conversion on any car with ABC suspension
