That is a larger tank right. Did the engine already have 10 to 1 compression? Some see my bike and think it is a 883 .

Well.. considering pre’ M8, you are riding on 1944 technology. I agree, the deluxe looks are quite appropriate 🤪

I think it's the best harley ever built, my 2010 custom. it sits beside my 2008 bonneville, and my 2021 rsv4 1100 factory akrapovic full system Aprilia.

I’ve been wanting to get an ADV bike so bad. I was looking at the Kawasaki 650s, but my local Royal Enfield dealer is offering brand new 2023 himalayans for only 3700, with an included 900$ worth if upgrades! I like the Himalayan design much better, it’s feels a lot more comfortable as a short rider, and it feels much easier to toss around!

A plumbers self ajusting Tap Wrench works with the drop link in place. Always do it on the centre stand to take the sag out of the spring. I run 60mm sag and find it OK for solo riding.

I recently purchased a 2021 Himalayan but the stock seat hurt my tialbone. I ordered the Royal Enfield Black Touring Rider Seat for the 411. It appears to be a much nicer seat when I get it I am sure it will be a much more comfortable ride. Corbin was an option but 600 is a bit expensive for me right now.

just boght a 98 1200c...11.497 miles, been sitting 3 years, owned by an older gentleman that has passed. last service 2 was 11496. has a screamin eagle exhaust other wise i think it's stock. i hope you got a great deal on your bike with all the work that was needed. Mine needs a front tire (low tread) battery (wow, when did they get so expensive!) and a carb/tank cleaning. Haven't ridden in abot 20 years, this is my first harley. looking forward to the fall riding season!

Just bought a '22 klr650 traveler and immediately experienced the skating on gravel. It has real knobby tires w/ good tread. Quite eye opening for me, and not a deal breaker, but I feel logging in some time and getting to know the bike will help too. I will be shopping for optimum tires to handle gravel better though.

‘Comftability’, good word man. Mind you, just ‘comfort’ works fine, but what the heck, I feel that comftability grabs little more meaning than just comfort. Gonna use it myself. X

You are an influencer, so I do not think that you got a regular bike. I bet, your bike mubt have been carefully checked and fixed againts factory issues by the dealer before you got it.

Im 67 and needing to buy a smaller bike than my roadglide,,,have looked at several 1200s and rode them..they of course dont ride as smooth as my bigger harley but is dam sure easier to handle for a 67 year old man..do many men my age go the same route,,i refuse to buy a trike for now,,,lady locally has her dads 2011 1200 for 3500 cash,,he passed away last year and was only owner ,,he kept it indoors and its in showroom condition

Back in the day, the Sporty was known as a bar hopper. I’ve own several over the decades I’ve been riding. The Sporty isn’t the best ride for long distance, but it will get ya there quick. For an individual who wishes to jump into the world of Harley, great scooter to start with. Great ride, Harley performance, not that expensive to buy and easy to pull maintenance. I’d buy the Evo engine before some of the older iron. Still got two sportsters, 1985 and 2003, Two great bikes for short putts. Thanks for your video.

Just finished the install of Givi's crash bars on my '23. The job was a breeze(ish) on account of your tutorial. Much obliged, sir. One note: no need to relocate master cylinder on the '23; I reckon RE made the adjustment on the assembly line.
