We really need to change the current narrative that looks down on anyone who craves connection and community and companionship! However the solution may not be in looking for dates while travelling. Think about it why would a guy agree to go on a date with a tourist? London is not the safest city and coming from the Middle East, you are fortunate that you did not end up with a creep. And there is such a thing as dating cultures around the world, what is considered the norm in certain cultures, or what is expected in certain cultures. It’s London babe, it’s not the Middle East. it’s common to not have dinners, unless you agree beforehand. It’s common to keep it super casual like a walk. I guess in Middle East the men pick a restaurant n dinner is expected. Also in certain countries making out on a date is normal, in certain countries ppl go as far as a hug.
