I was pickpocketed in London a few months after I moved there, they took my phone. I cried in the mall, trying to find a phone I could use to call my family, I was scarred for months afterwards from the incident.. I thought I was being a care free person exploring my freedom in a new city, and then to find out you are being watched is scary. I still flinch when I can’t find my phone in my bag the first time. The shops wouldn’t sell me one for monthly payments as I didn’t have any credit records and I had to buy one full price. I did although make a police compliant, and eventually many months later, the police found my phone back for me.
