I bartended at the Longhorn during this period. Always a huge draw and a fun group of guys.

what is the deal with boys run free in their shorts? pedo? I was giving my busboy a ride home from work and played this song, I was thinking it was weird too...got home and told my wife and she said the song was gay as hell...thoughts?

Played my high school prom in Madison, WI, 1987. My whole class were all huge 'burbs fans, and we saved up to get them to come down and play. It was awesome. I live in Mpls now and have seen some of the band members out and about over the years.

É uma pena, mas Laurie morreu cedo demais. Sei que ela gravou um ep solo. Mas nunca consegui obter. R.I.P. Laurie.

Just think how good they would’ve sounded had their guitars been tuned in sync.

These guys were 2 good to be big, they were put on earth to fucking rock and roll, cherished by enough and not loved because of some fluke

The Romones downstrokes, the power chording, raggae/Ska pull backs...then some gentle arpeggios, the dynamics. Dam Bob was/is a god. I would have loved hearing him mature.....Not to mention Tommys 13 or 14!!!....Good god what a band.

This has got to be one of the worst bands I’ve ever heard. Drummer is fairly solid but this is the 3rd song of theirs I’ve listened to, each worse than the one before. I’m not trying to be disrespectful or mean in anyway I swear to God but the lyrics seem so myopic and laying down of the melodies are kinda painful to listen to especially with a straight face. All love to ya guys but “AH smh!”

Saw them at the Cabooze in Mpls, MN 1981, this tune jammed live! Driving beat rocked the place.

That's where I saw them too. Did anyone else go to The Oz downtown St Paul? lol I still have my pink slip ads for ladies night.

This gets better and better every time I see it. Tommy was probably like 15? I've been to the entry probably 50 times and I ended up meeting Tommy a few times in the later days. Just a really nice guy. Very gracious and dug talking about music.
