Her stance is interesting from a martial arts perspective. Her left art functions as a natural guard as it would take the brunt of an attack sans barrier. Her right arm and keyblade would require her to move her body, essentially using the momentum from adjusting her body to her attacks and magic. This is consistent w her style as she doesn't have to rely on her physical strength as Terra and Ven does all the while apply pressure when needed physically and magically

I'm starting to see a parallel between Ventus/Vanitas and Banner/Hulk. If they still need to free Ventus and Vanitas from each other, I hope a visit to the MCU, specifically doctor Hulk, is in order. So much from the MCU could benefit these characters and their psychological needs. And if "Star Wars" doesn't use its so called "Sequels" (or as I call them, Luke's drunk nightmare), the people there might as well (I would prefer the characters from "KOTOR" to be the ones to help, but I know I must be realistic).

I think Ventus is the only character who fights with his keyblade backhanded.

If I could fight, i think Ventus's style would be my main choice. I've always had a thing for finishing a fight quickly and efficiently, like an assassin, than drag it out. My emotions would need to be sky high for me to want to drag it out.

I would not be able to take someone on in KH if I was fighting with a reverse grip stance. If anything, I would take a Low-guard stance found in German Longsword practices. That way, I still have a usable defensive position that is actively aggressive towards my opponents in combat. In fact, my stance would almost mirror that of Master Eraqus.

You missed one very important detail! Short swords like what Vens keyblade can be compared to were often used in assassinations, because they were easy to conceal. If you know union cross, you know why that's important. After all, I don't think it's coincidence that Vens key is the only one constantly pointing at his allies (consciously, or not).

This wait for "KH 4" can not go on for much longer ! My views on the main cast worsens by the day. I see the worst in them day after day ! It's making me similar to Xehanort !

I'm sure my comments about Aqua are confusing people. So to put it simple, she was on the right path to understand the world after her adventure with "Cinderella". But then Xehanort leaving her trapped in the Dark Realm ruined it all. Now she's traumatized, and will take longer to accept darkness, as a result, poisoning her students in the meantime. In other words, I see her as I see Jeong Jeong, except I don't puke, because she, hopefully, wouldn't make her students hate themselves.

This is why shes my favorite Keyblade wielder. Im not gonna claim to be anywhere near her level, but being the massive nerd i am ive actually used her stance with a sword, and it works pretty well. If i could move with game physics itd be a blast to use

I'm starting to think Naminé and Kairi are what Carver (The Walking Dead) would call "Strong sherperds surrounded by weak sheep." (yes, I altered the line a little, but these are still his words). Xion is safe from such, being close to Roxas and Lea. But Naminé has a kinship with Riku, who sees his gifts and himself as burdens, and Kairi is under tutelage with Aqua, who's broken by trauma. Ventus and Terra must interfere as soon as possible.

Makes you wonder how strong Ventus' kung fu grip is if he can hold his own with a reverse grip sword.

I hope that theory claiming Xehanort voted for Aqua to become master is false. Your videos on the "BBS" trio show part of why Xehanort hated the current world so much. Ventus and Terra were more deserving of masterhood than Aqua. Their minds more open along with their determination. But biggotry wronged them through Eraqus.

One of the few good things to come out of that trash bin called "Kingdom Hearts 3", is that it gave me much respect for Ventus. The Ancient Darkness, which Vanitas was born from, screwed up his life. But Ventus understands Vanitas is only a cog in the machine. There was more than Darkness involved in his life's mess. Vanitas reacted to it, more than acted, because he's Darkness'es evolution, showing it could be more than a mindless parasitic entity if exposed to humanity long enough. His previous form did those things before Vanitas had the sentience to understand his actions, before he had access to a human perspective. And was then encouraged to continue that way. His last words to Vanitas shows how he surpassed the strong notion that Keyblades are forever designed to destroy Darkness. Not even Riku can be complimented for that. Because he still encourages everyone's hate against it. Seeing it as burden more than a natural part of his.

You make a good point. especially after playing BBS after playing as Starkiller from the force unleashed, there were a couple of attack sequences that involved pivoting and spinning the sword that I think would work well if ventus ever integrated them into his moveset.

Huh ! Didn't expect it to be a real stance. Also, after this video, i think Ventus got a little more relatable to me, growing further in my consideration. Asperger is supposed to be my weakness. But I see it as my strength, even if embracing it weakens my social skills.

Her stance and focus on range magic doesn’t just fit her as a controlled spellcaster, it always made me think of a Renaissance do list in a court, perfect poise and grace as she waits for an opening that she will ruthlessly exploit. Terra crushes, Ventus overwhelms, and Aqua strikes.

"Time To Make History" fits this concept well, quite literally "stepping up to the plate". If I were to put Persona songs with how my life currently is going, I think I'd put "Colors Flying High" & "Beauty of Destiny".

If nothing else I’d love to see them experiment with this in a sequel. Remember, there’s always one or third years in the party. So in a Strikers esc sequel where in the MC visits the sempais or in fact is going to college and makes a few new friends who get wrapped up in the Persona chaos.

He is the physical strongest character of all keyblade user. The Name alone shows he is unshakeable.
