You ever tried art resin its non toxic?
@resinfanatics23 күн бұрын
There’s no such thing as a non toxic resin … once you mix A and B together and torch it your changing the chemical components of the resin and it becomes toxic

So do you need paint at all? I know you can use puff paint to out line. I was thinking you put paint on beads then the mica to deepen color

If you have leftover scented beads, get some small mesh bags to put them in. Sell them as sock drawer freshener. We sell a lot of them.

Thank you that’s an awesome tip .. 🫶🏼

You also need to let the beads air out to get rid of the vinegary smell before you use the beads. When they are no longer smelling like vinegar and no smell at all then you can use then. You left this step out . It should be the first thing you told them. Then showed how to make it. You use a roofing nail because it has a wider flat head. Works great

Greetings, I want to start by letting you know that you're my favorite! KS resin liquidy split has become a favorite of mine because of your help! If you plan on making a charcuterie board, art coasters, and smaller molds, which KS resin line would you opt for with enough work time and UV coverage? 🙏🥰

I use a measuring cup to find its volume (I use rice). Since rice, sand, resin, and silicone all have different densities, I only pay attention to volume. Even the different parts of resin or silicone have different densities so a scale is useless.

Bet you could actually hand make some breaking waves using moge podge , I think it’s called and carefully cut them to fit on the edges of the water breaks along with plastruct clear ocean water surface sheets, just carefully molded them together and employ some airbrushing using acrylic paints.

So don’t flatten it’s called something different, is there anyway you can message me on Facebook through messenger and tomorrow I can walk you through it while I’m looking at my computer? Or if you know a better way to connect let me know.

I’m so glad I found this video! I’m just starting resin crafts and have done earrings and tried to do a beach cutting board and the waves did not come out great…. Cannot wait to try your method… once I find the casting craft white opaque pigment, I used the white alcohol ink so obviously I did not end up with the cells… I do have one question, if you pour clear over the entire piece after you do all the waves will you lose the ‘3D’ effect?

This was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I am totally new to making molds and using resin. I had the idea that I can get creative and make my own 16mm Gauges for my ears. I wanted to make several at a time just in case they don’t come out right. Soooooo, transfer tape made a huge difference. I could not only tack em down before pouring but lay them out symmetrically instead of the jumbled mess I tried before. Now everything looks fantastic!!!! You are the bestest! 😊

Instead of rolling & taking air out of your bag leave more air in & roll after seal to have more of a ball form your beads will color much easier and faster that way.
