I'm in the minority here - I'm a fan of all the 'adult' actresses - but I find their stories either boring or plain silly. The teens in the Wilderness is more than enough intrigue, drama, horror, and suspense.

I think the reason they’re doing this is because the girls cannot remember how many people were really with them. Like we can see Shauna’s memory of Jackie slowly be distorted with time. The same is happening to the girls (they could look at an old photo and count but I don’t think they’d want to be reminded of the plane crash at all.

@@UberWarrir01they mentioned after season 1 that every season for the first 3 seasons, that they were gonna introduce 3 girls from the background that have always been there just never spoken. So that it matches the number of people that they crashed with (that didn’t die straight away)but also so they don’t have to introduce like 20 characters in season 1!

Here's to hoping this show won't go off the rails. It's already a stretch Ben survived this long, so he needs to die. I like him a lot, but I don't want surprise survivors popping up every season. The ones we have now should be the only ones at this point. Surprise us with WHEN and HOW and WHY characters are dying and how that affects the survivors, not with WHO is dying. Make the deaths interesting and painful, don't avoid them by adding more characters in the present.
