This is cast is phenomenal, but I can't imagine it can come close to Le Bureau des Legendes (on AMC, The Bureau). The one thing that gives me hope is that Jez Butterworth is one of the creators, but Le Bureau is incomparable - most of all, Matthieu Kassovitz, but an incredible supporting cast.

I would highly recommend anyone considering watching The Agency to watch Le Bureau instead, or watch it after / before this. Le Bureau is the best spy series of all time in my book and you will understand why very fast. It's so typical for american film industry to remake what has already been made. The original French version is probably the best spy series of all time, and generally one of the best series out there. It is realistic because it is primarily about intelligence gathering, not James Bond things. From this trailer, it already looks like there's a lot of shooting and explosions, but I hope they stay true to the intelligence profession (which is a broad term) and don't exaggerate the action.
