Sé do bheatha, a bhean ba léanmhar, Do bé ár gcreach tú bheith i ngéibheann, Do dhúiche bhreá i seilbh méirleach, Is tú díolta leis na Gallaibh. Tá Gráinne Mhaol ag teacht thar sáile, Óglaigh armtha léi mar gharda, Gaeil iad féin is ní Frainc ná Spáinnigh, Is cuirfidh siad ruaig ar Ghallaibh.

" Come tell us how you slew them old Arabs two by two " 😮😮😮 Am from Sana'a, Yemen and I loved your heroic attitude supporting Gaza , but this " come tell us... etc. " is super confusing. Irish people we are not the enemy.
@AcdirksiКүн бұрын
It is in support of the Arabs not against. The song mentions how the Zulu, Arabs and Irish have been hurt by the British, but it was not a fair fight since they had better weapons

@Acdirksi Oh, pardon me then. My English ain't that good and I just heard one part of it ... that's why I misunderstood. Thank you for clarifying. Yemeni people love Irish ones and we are all against barbarian British regime .

Me hace gracia , un villancico ucraniano compuesto por Mykola Leontovych y que la gente piense que es inglés porque se relacione con Cuento antes de Navidad , lamentable .... no todo en ésta vida ha venido de Inglaterra, por suerte .

This is not a "version", this is the original. Ukrainian composer Mykola Leontovych worked on it from 1901 to 1916. In 1936 it was translated into English and called "Carols of the Bells". The composer was killed by the Soviet secret service or KGB, I don't remember exactly (you can google which forces and how, if you want to be more specific)
