At WPGU-FM (University of Illinois), our PD didn’t throw away the promo 45 we got of this song, but he did take a steak knife, or similar appliance, and rendered this record unplayable, after someone spun it one night on our AM carrier current training station that went through the dorms. I remember it hanging on the wall in his office for a time, and only heard this song once or twice in the last 40+ years. Thanks for posting.

These days I feel it's less that the music sucks and more the people who jump on the bandwagon. Credit to the new wave types that were called "fag" and took beatings for being different. It wasn't just punks getting jumped. BTW, pretty sure my sisters incessant playing of the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack and REO Speedwagon's High Infedelity led me to becoming a punk.
