It gave me full relief but only for about 26 hours, then quite quickly some of the pain came back. I am now at 33 hours and the pain isn't back like before, and I may be able to wait it out for a few days.. I guess I'll know later today! I feel a bit scared of getting it repacked...are there dangers in getting it taken out/repacked by a dentist?? ...Now at 37 hours and pain definitely bearable (unlike before Alveogyl), but the paste may still be doing some painkilling work.. I'll know by tonight I think...Now at 42 hours and little pain! I think it might have worked! I'll keep updating... Now at 60 hours and the pain is just an ache, very manageable. I expect a slow recovery from now on. Another few days or a week and I won't feel much anymore :) So, Alveogyl is a life saver! I bought some of my own! For reference: (Alveogyl does break down almost completely, in your socket, just leaving a few very fine fibre strands, which should be lifted out by the natural healing action over time) - (You shouldn't swish any liquid in your mouth for 24 hours after insertion, you don't want anything getting into the socket and breaking it down prematurely)

Brother, I appreciate this so much! My doktor left me with a small piece of gauze in my mouth (which was very bad placed, on my other tooth and partly on the operated tooth) , and just said “bite a lil on it for an hour” and let me go. This while he extracted my 2 wisdom teeth on the left side + 1 upper tooth next to the wisdom teeth. Also he never said that I should drink in the first hours or spit out the blood. Because I wasn’t aware of how important it is to make the bleeding stop, I drinked water and I didn’t panicked for like 3-4 hours. Then I began to get huge blood (dark red/black) cloths which where abnormal, it was like there was huge pieces of meat in my mouth (very disgusting). When I called the hospital, she just told me to roll a gauze as if it’s a sigar and bite on it, but I put the gauze vertically (because the initial dokter placed it like that) and I used up 8-9 gauzes. No stopping bleeding and finally at 1 am in the night I found your video which explained perfectly how to put the gauze between your teeth and that it’s extremely important to keep high pressure on the wounds. After fighting against my sleep, biting down for 40 minutes, it FINALLY stopped bleeding and the gauze wasn’t as bloody and nasty as all the other gauzes. So thank you very much for your video, I was about to go to the hospital, but now I can finally rest and eat some. Bless you brother!

My gauze has BECOME the blood clot so now I CANT TAKE IT OUT … I’m scared for one side of my mouth the gauze is clean and not bleeding on one side but the other is completely black congealed blood all around the gums and gauze I can’t take it out I’m afraid everything else will come with it …. I might need to go back to my surgeon to see what they think but it’s 20 mins away

If you're holding the suture needle/driver in the left hand, the right hand is doing all the work. Make sure to keep the tension on the suture with the left hand as you continue to form your knots. Hopefully this helps! Keep at it as it takes some practice. All the best!

Just for clarification, that one bottle would be used only for one patient? It cannot be used for multiple patients, I assume? If that’s the case then use the other systems like Onset?

going thru similar symptoms after a visit to the dentist. such a horrible thing. the toung is numb, burning often and tight. part of the inner gums are also numb. after a lingual nerve damage are there any sings to look for that indicates that the nerve is regenerating ??? is there a way i can tell if it was probably cut off or is it probably just damaged ??? being in the dark on this really is frustrating

Mt dentist broke my buccal plate over both canines. Nobody told me. I realized it because there's a huge open space where they were. The gums are squishy and tender. Now a huge piece of bone is coming out through the opening where the neighboring incisor was. It opened the gums back up about 10 days after my extractions. It hurts so bad. I go tomorrow to see him about that and the sinus perforation. I'm so frustrated

I don't have any numbness or tingling in my tongue. The problem is right under the right side of my tongue (Where the tongue attaches to the bed) is painful when moving it. I just had my right lower molar extracted 3 days ago. I still have swelling on the jaw bone and right under the jawbone where I feel the pain under my tongue. I've been putting ice and heat on this area - Do you think it will heal on its own? - I'm 73 years old.

Seriously tho. Many stainless steels are inferior to even the cheapest carbon steel for blades. This is clearly the case for knives that you are going to re-sharpen yourself. I’m not sure if it matters so much for a disposable scalpel blade. As far as kitchen knives goes it seems like the industry cares more about knives looking shiny than their performance. If you attempt to re-sharpen your own kitchen, knives, vinyl carbon, steel chef’s knife. You will never go back. That is unless you have an extremely nice high-quality stainless set. But anything you bought at Walmart, target isn’t even worth buying.

Hello doc. I had an inferior alveolar nerve damage from left bottom wisdom tooth extraction. Today is week 7th. Still complete numb to my left bottom jaw, lip, and chin. Everyday it’s a different feeling between tingling, pins and needles, burning, and electric shock. But everyday, I do feel the tightness. I don’t feel pain. I started to chew soft food on left jaw to engage my jaw, and I don’t feel pain. The dentist that performed the surgery is an implant specialist, and he left the root behind because it was too close to the nerve. So I am sure that he was aware of the nerve while performing the surgery. I am 45year old, so I may take more time for healing. I’ve been taking Bcomplex, lipoic acid, daily tumeric for inflammation, and complete lifestyle change for this. My question is, at this time, what is the indicator that nerve is healing or not? I did obtained an MRI 2 weeks post surgery, and neurosurgeon read it and said the area shows inflammation. I just want to know what else can I do know to support healing, instead of waiting then it became too late. Thank you doc.
