Couple of tips I learned Blow up the eco wells Hold l1 going to the ramp then on the last square in the ramp, hit x. This ignores the bullshit "spin boost movement to get high enough" and Jax/Dexter will basically always have the momentum to throw it up there The class races Much like road courses/road circuits irl, it's basic just get in clean air(get a 2 second lead)then you win. From my experience, boosting on a hill/on the turns that have a gap of some parts on the track is a death sentence, just save them for straight turns. On the final race where there's that straight wall on the steep turn(think it's turn 3 or 4), slam the break and hug the inside because you will always snag the boost on the far right and can use that to get top speed again while running the fastest line. Also on the Dexter race, you don't need a boost to complete the ledge shortcut if you jump at the last second/in a straight line. Escorting krewa men Just save dark jak for the ambush and use the ground slam/spin in air dark attack about 10 seconds into the ambush away from the 3 dolts you're escorting. Sig in under Port Fuck this level. It's just the autoscroller when the metalhead that is chasing you that's a burden. There's really no tip besides trial/error until you get it right. The mini games They're just dumb, honestly if you're on emulator just put it on 50% speed. This/the whack a mole mission are a waste of time. The hellcat cruiser mission Just use the Vulcan fury from far away so it can't shoot back. Also switch the zoomer every 30 seconds Enrol city race If you aren't accelerating/breaking, the zoomer won't actually boost. Makes the turns 100x times easier. Water slums seal If you're a bitch:activate the hoverboard and just run away If you're a real guy:the Vulcan is the weapon you should be using 90% of the time. Check the map and take the most efficient route(a few are dead ends.) But around the 3rd wave point you hit, the guards will start spawning behind you but it'll only be like 5 max. Just focus on whatevers in front of you inching forward but when the wave thins for 0.5 seconds, turn the Vulcan around and fire like 15 blind shots then keep going. The auto scroll turrent The kill 40 is the real challenge, if you get to half heath before 20 left, just reset. Killing them as they come down is really the only good option. They will all follow the same line coming in so just hold that one spot. When you're in the rest of the mission, focus on the blimp turrent over the one guard, it will do more damage than the guard

Holy shit! Spawn from Todd MacFarlane's comics! I agree, he is definitely a badass. He's probably tied with Shadow the Hedgehog, that's just me though. When I was younger, I never knew who Spawn was until I heard he was a comic book character, the first time I saw him was in Soul Calibur II, he was a guest character in the Xbox version of that game. Out of the people voiced him, Keith David is the best voice actor in my opinion, though Kevin Michael Richardson came close after I heard his voice in both Spawn: Armageddon and Soul Calibur II.

That was an amazing list, Chief! Though some of the game's on your list, I have not played such as: 10 and 3. I have played Daxter, but I don't own a PSP, I used to play Warped, but I stopped playing the original PS1 game. Nowadays, I played the N Sane Trilogy on the PS4. Uncharted 3 is the best Uncharted game in my opinion, I have that game on the PS4 as part of the Uncharted Collection which I got as a bundle from my PS4. I have a question about the Sonic games, have you played Sonic Forces and Sonic Frontiers? I have played both of them, Forces had a great concept, but it was pretty short and I had actually beaten the game the same day I got the game. Sonic Frontiers was freaking epic by how it stood out, it was pretty long but it was enjoyable. Plus the soundtrack was beautiful.

@@ChiefShadow1750 I see. I haven't beaten Frontiers yet, but I'm like 80 percent done. Sonic Colors is amazing, but the problem I have with that game are the bosses. A lot of Sonic games have ridiculously easy bosses, but Colors really takes the cake. They are too short, and they go down easily when you use the wisps. I literally once took down a boss with two hits from using the laser wisp, no joke. Also, I didn't like Colors' main theme, I didn't quite understood the lyrics because the voice sometimes drown out and it was just not catchy to me.

Jak II was the game that made me struggle the most. Don't get me wrong, it's an incredible game, and one of my all-time favorites, but you cannot just glide your way through it. Beating the game took forever, getting enough Precursor Orbs for Hero Mode took even longer. Playing on Hero Mode is so much fun. That turret mission; I do not know how I beat it, because even now when I cheat it a little bit on Hero Mode, I can't even get to the ship. The turret only fires quickly if you pause between shots, the guards take multiple shots to kill, and when you hit them they fall out of the sky a little, so you have to re-adjust your aim. Is it different on Hero Mode than in the regular game? That could explain a lot.

Jak II did surprised me with the changes it has after playing Precursor Legacy, with its darker and serious story, mature characters, and even the age rating from rated E to T. The darker storyline does have a good feel with the atmosphere of the game and it's quite entertaining. Now for the gameplay, when I played this, it kinda feels like a sandbox platformer, but it's not 100% like Grand Theft Auto. Sure it has the people, guns, missions, and "police", but other than that, it's not 100% like GTA. When I played this game, I was getting the hang with it, and even liked the idea of having 4 guns. My favorite is probably the Blaster, which is the yellow gun that has more long range, and even found it cool that you can even use Dark Jak. But then all of a sudden, the game gets really insane and brutal as the missions gets super hard and frustrating as you progress, even from the beginning of the game starting when you had to blow up the ammo from the Fortress. What pisses me off are some of the level designs where there are too many enemies, lack of health packs when there are times when you really need them, and speaking of which, Jak takes 4 hits and he's down. Another problem is that sometimes the pedestrians are a pain in the ass which they will also screw you up in some of the Haven City missions such as when you have to get the Seal Piece at the Water Slums. I was trying to get through it with the JETBoard, but there were times I hit a pedestrian and I fell in the water and died. Another thing that pisses me off with this game is that there are lack of checkpoints in several missions where a lot of times when you die, you have to start over from the beginning. All of the enemies will come back and you basically have to fight everyone all over again and even go through the same obstacles all over again. Now if you get the Skull Gems and the Precursor Orbs, it's not those that come back, only the enemies. You can't really develop a strategy because you'll face different variants of Metal Heads as you progress through the game. I died so much at this game, no joke. It's because of facing hoards of enemies like the Krimzon Guards, Metal Heads, etc, enemies that are hard to take down such as those Spider Death Bots that are trying to go after the Underground, and even those stupid races where the track design is so tight and easy to crash and die. Don't even get me started with that race with Errol, he can skip some of the rings but I can't, that's not even fair. The only reason I feel like he's a champion is that he cheated, just like in the ring race, he was cheating that he can skip some of the rings. Another problem is how they executed Dark Jak, where you transform into him and you're basically stuck with him until the time limit is done and that's pretty much all there is to it. What they should've did was allow you to transform into him and then when you feel like you're done using him, you can switch back at any time, just like how they later did with Jak 3. The areas can look nice, but at the same time, some areas look disgusting, depressing, and dark where I had to brighten up my TV to see where I am. The voices are really good, I still liked Daxter's voice where he is still as funny as ever, I also liked Torn's voice, Ashlein, Tess, Kor, Keira, Samos, Baron Praxis and Sig. The biggest addition is Jak, and my god, I loved his badass, angry, and serious voice that represents his tough guy image after the amount of Dark Eco treatment that was given to him after spending 2 years under the Baron's hands at the Fortress. The music isn't the strongest, but I still liked the soundtrack where you're being chased by the Krimzom Guards in the city, Praxis' Palace, some trouble with the guards at the Fortress, the music when you're being chased by a tank, etc. Overall, this game is good, if you can get past all of the frustrations, lack of checkpoints, and other things. I give it an 8/10.

You're right. Sorry it's been like almost 20 years lol The defense turret at the harbor in Jak II had a friend and I sweating profusely. Like take turns just was not working. One of the dudes said #2 on this list they cracked the disc and sent the controller into orbit. I believe the Dualshock2 controller was actually designed to make this game *harder*. 😂 sensitivity settings were just nuts for some things.we had multiple controllers go out so there was definately drift involved. Vulcan fury had barrel drift if I remember. Yellow gun had an almost auto lock feature which was kinda broken for certain missions if you had a good semi auto trigger finger. 😉 Red gun in either 2 or 3 or both you could do a fire+ 360 spin and so that basically leveled the area for the missions where the little metal heads swarmed you 360 degrees or if you stole a speeder and the city was on high alert for you. you could farm metal head gems if you knew what you were doing with the scatter gun Jak 3 was a little better with the 12 or whatever guns, and light eco healing capacity. especially after you unlock the nuclear missile peacemaker with bottomless clip upgrade. Like Starcraft Terran status everything is dead. Requires a lot of precursor orbs to do that but when you finish the game and turn on hero mode and are bored the missing orbs would be able to be gotten. in Jak II the bombing eco wells misson was brutal but I got lucky and passed it quick. but the harbor defense mission was a doozey. Totally had forgotten about the eco tanker mission. feel like this was 15 to 20 years ago but of all the missions which were best designed and yet brutally precise that missile one is #1. Hellcat cruisers were fun. Racing errol through the city and countryside was a tragedy. Like turn the game off and retry another day. Could regularly get the 3/4 mark but the final stretch with accelerator rings there was something like a 1/10th of a screen vector which had to be hit perfectly and if your timing was off other speeders or whatever would be in the way and you would scrape or fail. I think that one and the harbor defense took days Gran Turismo Nurburgring S class race full lap for Gold was wayyy harder than Jak II speeder races. m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/mHPdfZaPgddsa9U I thought I only IA licensed that game but doing it over and over again for gold was a memory so I guess I did S class that game after all. GT3 mustve been IA only then... But yeah speeder races other missions are repressed memories one cherishes years later. I have so much respect for the game designers who thought up Jak games. missile mission is hella legendary. Hard, but amazing.

There are some games that I have played that I liked as a kid, but not really anymore. As a kid, I loved playing the Spyro games, but when I got older, I don't really liked them anymore, they weren't as fun as I remembered. As for your list, I have never played 5, 3, and 2. The only SpongeBob games I have played were the Movie, Nicktoons Unite, and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 1 & 2. Crash of the Titans is a total embarrassment, and I have made my rant on the game when we were talking about it one time. But seriously, the game was utterly disappointing, the story was bland and very forgettable, and the characters looked like shit along with the terrible voice acting, boring gameplay, weak music, and terrible puns on levels. Sonic Heroes was not the best Sonic game I've played, but in my opinion, it's not the worst despite some of the flaws it had. I got that game around the same time I got Soul Calibur 2 on the GameCube.

You are not missing anything special about my 5, 3, and 2 picks. 5 & 3 are very forgettable games. 2 was a frustrating experience. I recent got back into the Spyro games with the Reignited Trilogy. Before then I played the first game back in the early 2010s. But hey I'm glad you enjoyed Heroes more than I did. @@ChiefShadow1750 I'm so sorry you had a bad experience with Heroes. I did liked the game for the most part but the criticisms I have had with the game are the repetitiveness where Team Dark, Team Rose, and Team Chaotix have the same levels in the exact same order as Team Sonic, and the bosses are honestly pretty bad. The Egg bosses where it evolves you chasing after Eggman when he's in a vehicle, the formations I recommend using are: Egg Hawk: Power Egg Albatross: Speed Egg Emperor: Fly Another problem I have with the game are the special stages, getting all 7 Chaos Emeralds are a nightmare because you go all over the place where sometimes you'll hit a bomb, there are times you'll stop for no reason, and there's even times where you'll fly BACKWARDS, I have seen a let's player on KZbin that literally went through that when he was trying to get the last Chaos Emerald as Team Rose after he completed Final Fortress. I don't understand the random zooming in from the game's camera on your characters which makes the chances of getting hit or falling down a bottomless pit very likely, and also the final boss is very pathetic. I thought it was going to be a challenge, but I was dead wrong... From what I've heard, the Nintendo GameCube version of Heroes is the best port because of the better frame rate and smoother gameplay. That is the version I have the game on. For reasons unknown, I also own the PlayStation 2 version which is considered by many others to be the worst port. I don't know what the Xbox version was like since I have never played that version, but apparently someone said there were many glitches in that version, but I am not certain.
@ChiefShadow17505 ай бұрын
@@nicholaskane6148 It's okay my friend. Not everyone will have the same experience. The main problem with the bosses is that they have zero strategy, which in turn aren't fun bosses. Egg Emperor however was very cheap! Metal Madness was pretty decent but Metal Overlord was a colossal disappointment. It suffers the same problem, zero strategy. All you do is fill the Team Blast meter that's it. Oh god the Special Stages I would say are unplayable stages! The controls in those stages are the absolute worst I've ever experienced. I played the PlayStation 2 version, and I agree it's the worst port. But some of the problems I have also plague the other versions. I've heard very little of the Xbox version so I can't say much. I totally agree with your criticism and they are some of my issues too.

@@ChiefShadow1750 And also the game also has you grinding on the rails, but you know what really pisses me off about that? Sometimes when you tried to go to another rail, you'll get flung off the rails and into an area where you'll fall to your death. I've had that happened to me, and I was like: "What the fuck is that bullshit?!" Imagine you go all this far with a bunch of rings, and a score that will for sure give you an A rank, only to have it get thrown out the window all because you died simply just for trying to get on another rail, that's bullshit. The voice acting, I am pretty mixed on...but I CANNOT STAND Tails' voice in that game, he sounds like a whiny little kid who doesn't get what he wants, the other characters like Sonic, Knuckles, Shadow, Rouge, E-123 Omega, Cream, and Espio sounded fine in my opinion. I will give the game credit for its soundtrack, the music in that game is really good I will admit. I liked: Seaside Hill Power Plant Casino Park Bullet Station Frog Jungle Final Fortress The VS Team Battles & The Main Menu However, I hated Team Sonic's theme, it was so cringey to listen to and Team Rose's theme is not my style, but it was alright. Team Dark and Team Chaotix have the best themes. The main theme of Sonic Heroes was not too bad in my opinion, but there were instances where I can't really understand the lyrics. I have managed to beat the game 100% by clearing all of the stories including the last, and got A ranks in all the stages in each team, including the extra missions which unlocks Super Hard Mode, and you only play as Team Sonic at that mode. Overall, I give the game a 7/10 P.S., the giant F-bomb sounds pretty accurate when dealing with Jak II, lol. And additionally, my computer somehow deleted this comment that was posted originally for no apparent reason, which is why this is reposted, sorry about that.

@@nicholaskane6148 No worries. That rail grinding bullshit is another of my major complaints of the game. The fact that you have rail grinding over bottomless pits and that bug happens is inexcusable! But I had an idiot who said that it doesn't happen, yet there are let's plays that SHOWS that happening on all versions. I agree with Team Sonic's theme was pure cringe, Team Rose's theme is all right but it ain't for me and Teams Dark and Chaotix's are the best. However I disagree about the Sonic Heroes main theme song, I in fact hated that song and I think it's one of the worst Crush 40 songs. And it's not easy for me to explain why because I'm not great with critiquing music. I beat the stories 100% but never played the extra missions or Super Hard mode, I destroyed the disk before I could do it, I could take no more. But again, I'm glad you enjoyed it despite the flaws. @@ChiefShadow1750 Jim Carrey did really good as the Grinch I will admit, and also I don't know if you've seen those, but he's also Dr. Eggman from the live action Sonic the Hedgehog movies. Overall, he is a good actor.
