Sly 2: Band of Thieves (PS2, PS3) Review

After many delays and shit going on, I have finally finished and now present my take on Sly 2: Band of Thieves for the PS2 and PS3 via the Sly Collection.
I do want to apologize for any static feed during my recording, it's a long story.
Note: This all opinion based, which means you are free to have your own. Please try to respect my opinion.

Good review! If I had a compliant about the review, i never had a problem with the hacking minigame or most minigames, only one I have a problem with is the tank which I agree with. That's just my opinion of course. Heres to hoping for a sly 3 review! Heck I'm streaming the games on my twitch atm! So if you need a reference or just wanna have some entertainment come find me! I know a good portion of sly 3 as well feel free to ask questions!

DAMN IT CHIEF! WHY YOU HAVE TO REVEAL MY SECRET?!!? Lol in all seriousness, it's nice to see you made a review. And one that's on what I consider my favourite platformer of all time. Though I disagree on the hacking minigames, I didn't have too much of an issue controlling them and the dancing parts did give me trouble the first time but now I find them really easy. But I do agree on those damn tanks and turret missions. Good job overall!

Zookstar1000 Well someone needs to do a better job on keeping it as a secret. lol Anyways glad you enjoyed it, and I can respect that you like the dancing and hacking missions, they annoyed me personally. Now that I think about it the controls on the hacking missions are pretty simple, and unusual at the same time, the enemies constantly respawning annoyed me more than the controls. But as they say practice makes perfect, I'm sure that if I played them more, then they wouldn't annoy me as much. Anyways thanks Mark.

I have never played Band of Thieves before But, it looks like a good game to play.

I think I got this game in 2005, I don't remember. But this game is a solid and great sequel to the 1st game, and the gameplay has improved than the prequel did, and the story is good overall. I found it cool that you don't just play Sly Cooper, but also his friends, Bentley and Murray. Murray went from a coward to a brawn badass in this game! That's character development for ya! The problems I have with the game are some of the missions are annoying, especially by how the controls worked. The controls in this game are good, but that is if you are not in a vehicle, because in some of the missions when you are in a tank, you have to use the analog stick to aim and shoot, why can't they use the actual buttons to shoot and just have the analog be to turn the tanks? And also, the dancing missions take too long to beat, and to add salt to the wounds, you have to do it twice. Rhythm gameplay is never my style, it took me several tries to get past the dancing missions, I did managed to beat the game, but it was by luck because of the frustrations of some missions. Overall, it is a very good game, and you did great on the review. I was confused at first that this game also was on the PS3, until I realized that there's The Sly Collection which contains the first 3 Sly copper games.

to be honest I never played any sly games. I don't have a PlayStation 3 and my ps2 needs a cord. I also played more sonic games and call of duty games.
