RIP poussey and penns! Poussey definitely hit me the hardest but this was tough. I’m a die hard fan for this show and probably watched every episode 3 times or so .

Damnit, i didn't even want to like this show. I got so tired of serious stuff, but my ex started watching it and I got dragged in. Hated Penn at first, like most people did. But when she started actually trying to change and do better, I grew to respect her. This end .. screw this ending for her. Girl deserved to actually experience being better. But.. she's free. That's something to smile for.

Why did Tastee have to find her!? Wasn’t it bad enough that she had to watch Pousey die and then cradle her lifeless body in her arms. Now she has to relive that trauma through Pennsatucky? Tastee did not deserve all the trauma she experienced during this show. She’s definitely my favorite character by far.

Honestly why is no one talking about the fact T saw both Poussey and Pennsatucky dead bodies. That girl is just too strong.

That last season sucked, the introduced a bunch of charecters for no reason, and did she really need to die?

Bro, they must live in the most cushiest, pleasure palace type prison with all the crap they can do. Every time I see clips of this show it’s like they have free rain to do whatever whenever

One of the shows i dont think i can go back and watch from the beginning. I remembered so much tragic and depressing ish from that show. Especially the last season. Taystee was framed for murder she didn't do by her own friend and ended up with Life! After losing Poussey, Drea changed to a complete A-Hole. Man......

Knowing what was going to happen in later seasons in the new prisons… I don’t think Doggit would’ve lasted long in the Max Penitenciary…

In my generalized group rehab I lodt two friends to addiction. It's one of the saddest diseases to me. I never suffered from addiction to hard drugs, but the place I went had specialized groups for everything, and some generalized. There was a man who we will call Tom in one. I was 22, he was in his mid 40's. We were like father and daughter. He was there for heroin addiction, I had BPD, major depression/suicide attempts, and anorexia. I trusted that man with my life. He really was like a second father. He was clean for a year there before he decided to move back home to his wife and kids, ready to face the world again. He was such a good human. Everyone loved him. His wife was so, so in love with him and his kids, teens at the time, never judged him. They all constantly worried and just wanted him to heal. My god, my heart broke when she came in a month after he discharged, to tell us he had overdosed and passed. She was a mess. Never angry, never resentful. Just broken. He had relapsed, and forgotten his tolerance. She came home only an hour after he shot up. They tried everything but he was gone. That was the most quiet group session we had that day. I still think of him and its been over a decade. Some of the things he said to me or advice he gave are things I carry with me always. Rest easy, Tom.

I couldn't stand her character the first season. Absolutely thrilled when Chapman beat the crap out of her. Then she changed so much the rest of the show. I reallt liked her and was rooting for her. Was not expecting to see her die. the fast she passed her test just made it all the more tragic.

I will always love OITNB and appreciate what all they stood for but how can they do this to me after such a sad breakup of Flaca & Maritza and seeing how relieved & happy they were to see each other again??? 😢😢
