I just got a 190lb on a UC Centaur/ Penn Visx 16 100lb JB hollow with 200lb Seguar Leader, 270g jig with 9/0 assist hook. Fought the thing on strike and it just ran so I put into Full about 45lb of drag and dtopped the fish, put it into low gear and grinded the gear 15min later he was on the boat.

That’s a legit setup and the right way too fight them. I thought I was using heavy drag but I learned I need to use more. How big was your fish?
