Why do most buhurt or just every knight sparring vid i watch, they fight during what looks like to be summer. why not during fall or early winter so its not as hot?

Buhurt players tend to follow events like tourneys or renaissance faires. Those are usually done in the summer. 🤷. Definitely still get training during other seasons just tend to be less events for our sport

We fight year round, unlike most sports there is no off season for us. And unfortunately a lot of big name competitions are all during the summer. I WISH we only had to fight during the fall/winter. Getting heat exhaustion every event sucks balls.

Lol it worked didn't it? Kidding, it was actually my first time using a long axe. Normally I use one with a 36" handle that one has a 51" handle. I've spent a lot more time with it and have changed my whole fighting style.

its crazy how you have these guys doing this but they obviously aren't physically fit which is like step 1 to being a real knight or swordsman. They didn't earn anything, they just bought everything then show up thinking the quality or look of their gear is what makes them great. True LARPERS. I could shove all of these guys to the ground with 1 arm.

Breathing noises were kind of annoying but boy was it worth it. Great lessons, loved every second of it. Wish I had someone to teach me like this IRL. Please post more like this if you have it, it really helps the community and the sport grow!
