Thanks for the vid! How do you get the Alexa to connect to the internet in the cabin? Buy an internet package specially for it?

Glad you like it so I had Internet until around midnight and then the sea day nothing. What I do is set the Alexa up then it will lose signal but you can use it with a WiFi package i think cunard prices are ok!

@@Travelwithdans Thanks! I might try one of those mini travel routers and see if the ship WiFi can connect to that, then I can use multiple devices on my package including the Alexa. I’m on QV in a few weeks so will give it a go! Happy cruising 😊

Its a wonder that the trolley could get through as normally the trains are so packed that don't even attempt it. If you want the Tokyo metro experience then this is the train for you. You only had the experience you did because of the early start. When the rest of the world wakes up then it is a different story.

You can tell that it is a budget cruise... on the daily information leaflet, there was a misprint - they seemed to have mistakenly called "Tilsbury", "Tilbury". You'd think a professional company would have done better, wouldn't you? 😛 Thanks for the video!

@@Travelwithdans the normal stock is very good and reliable - but they also run some Birmingham services with old diesel engines and standard carrages - one I caught a few months ago broke down and we all had to get out at Ruislip where they managed to get it into a siding. Luckily, as I was going to Bicester, I can get out at either station and so caught the next train to Bicester Village instead of getting out at North. The driver mentioned that these older diesel engines often break down. Unless it's a newer engine on the one you are going on.

I recognise that snow covered car park! My scooter was stuck there for a while in that snow, it's lethal to walk down with the ice, so I wasn't risking it on the bike... I've been considering Ambassador for a while for a short break, so thank you for showing us what they are like onboard. They are as dated as I thought they would be but actually look looked after. Love your cat btw, mine would have destroyed the paper going through the printer in no time. 😂

I’ll be honest I love the voyagers especially CrossCountry ones but however they could do with more coaches personally the worst trains in my opinion are surprisingly not pacers but I will be honest I can’t say what I think of pacers as I never caught one however I would like to ride one what I can be honest about is the 800/1/2 they are the worst High Speed Trains in the country for very obvious reasons with there awful seats that feel like a rock hard shell anyway worst trains of all time I think are the 701s they feel horrible so as a user of the 220/221 I can they that they are actually very nice trains when you can properly use them

They are good trains and apart from the removal of the shop I think xc do a great job. I do think they should have been longer like how the 221's are but hopefully more will be coupled together with the release from Avanti

@ true very true what they could of done is make all 220 units 7 cars and all 221 units 8 car and that would solve the issue rapidly
