Id be interested in an update on this. Listening to this Im wondering if there is some confusion here. There are actually two parts to the clutch actuator, the motor which you replaced and the part that the motor connects to which is basically a threaded rod the moves the clutch fingers. To replace the later you do have to drop the gearbox. Equally the later is known to gum up and this can cause exactly the problems to you have. It is quite possible that a gummed up internal thread could cause the motor to degrade in power so replacing it may work but for how long. I have seen a number of videos showing how to manually activate the internal thread while cleaning and lubricating it and how that fixed the sort of problems you have been experiencing. Just a suggestion

What they had quoted you to replace was the clutch shift fork levers, which the actuators control. When these levers fail, you DO have to remove the transmission to replace them, as they are actually behind the clutch. These get gummed up with the dry clutch dust and cannot be cleaned or lubricated, so they are a weak point in the design. The other problem is the original output shaft seals, and when they fail, allow the fluid into the dry clutch and ruin the clutch. Ford did an extended warranty out to 150,000 miles, but most Ford dealers will try to deny the claim, as they don’t get paid as much by Ford to do the warranty work as they get paid by the suckers…I mean, customers.

I'm not surprised about the price the Dealer wants to charge you. Most if not all car dealers are a big ripoffs when it comes to repair work. I'm not sure who the bigger ripoff is either car dealers or dentists. Make sure you also do the ground mod by removing the Neg ground cables and sanding off the paint under them for a good connection. Do the one on the Neg ground location for the battery and the other one located on the frame under the filter box. After cleaning the paint off rub some dielectric grease to prevent corrosion plus spray the connectors down with some corrosion preventer.

Hey dewayne. i have a megane 3 edc which have these codes as well. So when i accelerate soft my transmission gear engage properly, but when i press hard on the peddal something happens like a dead spot to the gas peddal and its not reacting when fully deflected(flat) then when i realese the pressure rpms drop and it re engages speeds until it happens for 2-3 times and throws a check auto gearbox. what could be the issue?

It's actually a standard gearbox with computer controlled shift actuators. Hence, dual dry clutches. 😊

The socket he's talking about is called a 12 sided socket. He's using standard sizes not metric. The actuator bolts are 8mm which is close to 1/4"

After changed a pairs of Trans Actuators, and the Fiesta is >>> making hard start, when I heard some clicking noise from trans and Engine Light popup <<<. Do clear code, and drive smooth, but day after it is back to same way. Checked Fault Code it say TMC issue, I tried to find out >>> inaccurate calculation (but no idea about) <<<. I changed Fuel vacuum actuator and throttle -body. but it still acts the same way Hard Start, waiting until clicking noise from Trans setting, then start again. Do I need change TCM, and Calibration Trans?

What if we did that and it’s still happening it’s left me stranded more times than I can count but if I let it sit for 3-4 minutes it has no issue I also have a actuator voltage low but I do get a warning that the transmission is overheating and to wait 5 minutes

This is just a bro theory on the Actuator B. It is placed under the engine. The placement is always compromised from dust, dirt, mud, rocks and bumps from the road. If Ford just actually placed it on a better location. It would last longer.
