I know I’m late but I use to the love Geronimo and the thea stilton books when I was a kid, it completed my whole childhood.If they could make the Thea stilton series into a cartoon about the Thea sisters will mean everything to me. ❤

Check out A World Full of Journeys and Migrations and A Year Full of Celebrations and Festivals, if you haven’t already got them. Different author, but they have a lot of interesting nonfiction information in a similar format. Both have been on Book Outlet recently and we’ve really enjoyed them.

For the Waldock's Way unit. I found that the text "A Natural History of Magick" that was in the book list goes through the ancient worlds and highlights Egypt, Greek, Roman, and moving into the modern era of Magic. I think that is why she added the study book for history. The only thing I didn't find was vikings and mideval, but I think those were added because of Hogwarts being in a magical castle and vikings because in the books it is mentioned about Runes studies (Herminone takes that class in book 5) she added the culture that wrote the Runic alphabet. Anyway those were my thoughts, I might be off base, but that is what I found after I purchased that unit for this year. Thank you for the review, I hadn't heard of the other two series and I am excited to look into the project based learning, since that is how my child seems to learn best.

I always stumble on nature studies. I start every year with great intentions, but have never once done the observe and draw portion of nature studies.

In terms of "wanting to do all the things," I have real FOMO when it comes to curriculum. They all look so good and it depresses me to have to say no to them.

This is great! We did Harry Potter this year, we got a fantastic resource from tpt character study posters. We had lots of fun colouring and filling these out. We are off to Harry Potter world in August, I can't wait. 👍

I love the variety of decorations! You have such a great collection. I especially like the ceiling candles at night with the Hogwarts dining hall. My other favourites are the little hidden characters peeking through the plants! Your book editions are fantastic!

There aren’t a lot of videos about the kingdom of fantasy or even Geronimo Stilton BOOKS so I’ll just post this here. I remember that I was a huge fan of them in grade 2 and coming back to them years later made me feel a sense of nostalgia, Geronimo will never die and we thank him for the childhoods his books have crafted. I was inspired by this Easter basket video to get my daughter some more varied and interesting things for her Easter basket instead of just the usual candies and chocolates. The little stuffed bunnies are so cute, so I went and got my daughter an adorable stuffed teddy bear, because she loves bears, a cute purse, and a couple of books as well!
