It helps to soften the wax mixture. You'll know if you used too much. The wax will melt quickly from your body heat when sitting on your board. Also if you leave it lying in the sun.

This is so incredible how different parts can deviate and then converge into itself once again into an almost seamless pattern! I do not know what kind of zoom you have but your camera and camerawork are SUPERB! And an added thank you for not talking over it or adding a pointless soundtrack which adds nothing to the imagery. Thank you. I miss flows like this. Panasonic Lumix G X Vario 35-100mm f/2.8 II POWER O.I.S. Lens. It was my first outing with this gear after shooting Nikon since the late 70s. I still use the same gear today.
