The most insane part of this is it’s actually possible. I was in a similar situation once when I was a teenager, after inviting a bunch of friends (including my crush and future girlfriend) over to my place for a movie night. Only three of them showed up, my crush, her best friend, and another. We wound up watching The Conjuring right before we all passed out, and there were three spots where people could sleep, the daybed (a couch bed hybrid thing), the pullout trundle bed under it, and a really nice recliner. It was my intention to grab a sleeping bag and take the floor, which had a thick and soft rug on it. My friend took the recliner, my crush took the daybed, but her friend rejected the pull out trundle and claimed the floor. I then reiterated that there was a pull out bed, and that I had a sleeping bag for the floor. My crush then shot that down, and in front of everyone, said “you’re sleeping with me.” My brain short circuited, and I’m pretty sure I stammered out something along the lines of “I go get sleep bag”, and I left to one, breath, and two, grab my sleeping bag. When I came back, my crush’s friend, that bastard, had sprawled out in a way on the rug that left no room for me. I was then informed that I was getting on the daybed first, and was trapped between the back of the daybed and my crush. I, being the autistic oblivious idiot that I am, still not getting the hint, spent the entire night ramrod stiff, cramming myself into the back of the daybed so I could give her space and not bother her by accidentally touching her. Was probably the most terrified I’d ever been in that moment

This might be my favorite episode of the first season. Hayasaka is my favorite character in this show. She really has this big sister dynamic with Kaguya-sama that make their interactions so funny.

You guys missed the S3 trailer before starting S3, the trailer is actually a manga chapter, almost half a episode (9-10 mins). I am not recommending the OVA for your safety, but at least watch the trailer it is canon.
