No double pinning for more than one unit as part of the deep strike overlapping. You guys did it right. Also it looks doubtful both were in 6 inch range even. Glad to see Valdor coming in.

Great looking armies and the Fortress table is amazing, the word bearers force looks especially intimidating with the Mastodon, honestly makes it worth it.

Thank you! It’s the wet-wipe stencil method. With a silver base, airbrush gloss black through the stencil, then tamiya clear red over the whole thing.

The amount of invulnerable saves made in this game was borderline unplayable against. Good to see a Blackshields force. I'm soo. To make an Ashen Claws force in the new year. So this was great timing.

At 1:10:00 when you took armor saves from the barrage on the heavy weapon squad, I believe they have heavy so they could re-roll failed saves.

Great game and really interesting to see Black Shields on the table. Just a quick note, gets hot subjects the model to a hit from the weapon. The Nullificators that got hot, and failed their invuln, should have been removed due to instant death on the disintegrators.

So actually that's not how it'd work. The rule says "for each unmodified To Hitroll of 1, the firing model immediately suffers a single Wound with an AP value equal to that of the weapon that was used to attack", so the model isn't taking a wound from that weapon itself just one with an equal AP.

Looks like you forgot to remove the demon beasts marine kills in that combat against the 2nd tactical marine squad. Demons really need help this edition. They dont have much durability, lack much punch, and arent even cheap to make up for it. Sad that the DEMONS arent actually very threatening

6 dreadnoughts seems a bit nasty to run alongside a titan lol Edit: pleasantly surprised by how close the game was. Definitely could have swung more in the mechanicum players favor without some of those rule mistakes on the archmagos and thanatar calix. Good game overall though

Winters I think your mechanicum might be cursed. Whatever the worst thing that can happen is usually happens and if anything good happens on a 2+ you always roll a 1.

The Gal Vorbak are corrupted, so when they failed Leadership vs the Telemon they shouldn't have just lost D3 wounds and kept trucking instead of being destroyed. Would have made a difference!

Indeed, also about being able to be pinned I am not sure, it says that any leadership test or morale is failed they suffer D3 and keep going, so I suppose it depends on what you define as a pinning check since it is a type of leadership check also.

lol, one of best armies (Ultramarines) with insane rules and units vs one of the worse armies (SoH) with crappy rules and units. Predictable output. Playing SoH is waste of time.
