With vacuum actuator removed can actuator fork lever be placed in 4 high and tied off that way
@therealguygarage266822 минут бұрын
@EricGrasswick yes, you can do that. You may notice accelerated wear of front end components and tires however as well as increased fuel consumption.

Add that to the long list of things you did that I wouldn’t have done because I don’t know how and would have torn things up beyond repair.

So you say the level of quality of the hub bearings doesn't matter, that you get the same mileage no matter which. I found the same thing. If I put on a Timken or SKF, it won't last any longer than a cheapo $50 off eBay or Amazon. So now I just buy $50 units by the dozen and change them out every 2 months.
@therealguygarage26682 ай бұрын
@@jeffro221 I tried the $352 units, I tried the $89 units, same mileage, so now I run the $89 units.

Is there any video on how to remove the throttle body?
@therealguygarage26683 ай бұрын
@1JonathanCalderon it's fairly straight forward, remove the air cleaner, undo the fuel lines and gently remove them as there are o-rings on the end of the line, disconnect the wiring connectors, remove the two bolts that the Wingnuts mount too, and that's that.

So does that mean I have a vacuum issue or a different issue

Nice work on the rockers. I will be doing the same soon. I'm not a welder, but what settings do you use. Gas, flux core, low setting? I've tried welding a piece and realized the welder has to be on a low setting so it doesnt burn through the metal.
@therealguygarage26683 ай бұрын
@ricardomartinez4898 I have an old Lincoln Mig Pak 15, I run 0.23" wire and I use a "Mig mix" (75% Argon, 25% CO2) shielding gas, doing sheetmetal I've come to find that my machine likes the wire speed to be 5-6, and my amperage to be in either C or D depending on what I'm doing. The other thing to remember is that quick small tack welds are what you want with sheetmetal with adequate cooling time to minimize warpage
