I'm deciding on a CRM for LinkedIn contacts and this might help me lean towards HubSpot. However, I really want to be able to send bulk messages from the CRM. For instance, send multiple messages to all my group members without having to select multiple people manually from LinkedIn. Is there any tool to do that?
@HubSpotHacks
@HubSpotHacks 11 күн бұрын
Good question, Norah. For bulk message sends you'll probably have to use an external tool like Phantom Buster for the actual communication pieces, but you can tie systems together with Zapier too. You may be able to add everyone you want to message to a list in hubspot, use an integration to move that to google sheets, then use phantom buster or dripify to message

Great video! Should you have a "Curated" or "Unqualified" stage? About 30% of deals of ours are either curated or unqualified at some point during the sales process after booking a call. Would it be a "Lost" stage in the pipeline? Or should I not have it? If I didn't have it, how would I filter them out of that view so I can forecast correctly (for example, a demo was held, but it turns out they were unqualified). Thanks in advance!
@HubSpotHacks
@HubSpotHacks 11 күн бұрын
This will depend on how you have your sales pipeline set up, but our best practices suggest that if you have a demo stage in your pipeline and you end up showing the demo and they're unqualified, they become "closed lost". To prevent this, we'd recommend using lead statuses to help qualify or unqualify someone in the MQL or SQL stage before they become an opportunity, so that all potential deals are qualified before spending sales team time on them. It sounds like there may be an opportunity in your company to build a step between interested a demo to prevent the disqualification from happening (was it the wrong person? didn't know the price/investment? wrong timeline?). We did write a longer post about this to think about, hope some of this response helps you think through this:) blog.simplestrat.com/hubspot-deal-stages-7-keys-to-success

You are skipping through elements in this tutorial instead of describing them, which is frustrating. What is an SKU? What are Product Types? Why did you skip past "Image URL" and "URL"? Not very useful, I'm afraid to say. :/

Hi, I ran into an issue with your process, hopefully you can help! When creating the ID property in hubspot as a checkbox, it means that you will need a new zap (or to update the old zap) every time you have a new webinar right? Because you will need that ID from that event to align with the property (which you would also have to update with the new ID every time). If I wanted to be covered for ALL webinars, is there a way of (for example) using a multi line text, and then appending it with the new ID for each new webinar, probably separated by a comma? Or a way of having the zap CREATE the new property value automatically in hubspot? Thanks!

great video! can you also track response rate in the reporting section? I would like to track how many cold outreach inmails receive an answer. Thanks
@HubSpotHacks
@HubSpotHacks 11 күн бұрын
At this moment, it doesn't appear to track the received messages from cold outreach. However, given this particular tool is a third party it may be worth reaching out to their support to see if its on their roadmap. We also have had clients use Dripify.io or Phantom Buster to send and track messages - though it doesn't get reported inside the HubSpot interface (which is a drawback as well)

The marketing events are a love/hate relationship for us in some cases, as they're not as powerful as one might hope given the situation you described. Without having each side by side and testing each scenario, we're not quick to say which is better. We do prefer custom objects if possible to track events more strategically

That somehow doesn’t make sense. If you have 3 views that converted and two of them are your test submissions then your conversion rate is 100%, not 33%, because the one real form view converted. It‘s ok to delete fake submissions because that are in fact views that didn‘t convert, but if you delete your own test submissions then you screw your conversion rate.

In future update videos, would you consider addressing the updates in order of product level? I realize you may not do this to increase your watch-time rates. But from an end-user/viewer perspective, it would be a tremendous improvement to be able to clearly hone in on segments applicable to my business if, for the most part, the updates were shared as they related to the free version, THEN the Starter Kit version, THEN the Enterprise edition. *Thanks for all you guys share! Your videos are invaluable.*

It would be useful to explain generally how this entire feature works in detail. Even HubSpot's own information doesn't really explain what you use this feature for. I understand how it can work as a sales tool for sales reps making deals and quotes as you demonstrate, but I would like to use this feature to enable someone to simply click on a product in an email and have it bring up the product on our website and have it automatically added to a cart there. Is this possible? We use NetSuite as our ERP which is also integrated with the website and HubSpot. Our images are hosted with AWS. We don't want HubSpot to do payments.

Great video. Could you please explain how companies are tracking their MRR on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for the full term of a deal, not just the month in which the deal is closed or MRR billing begins, but again, for the whole deal term (example 12 months MRR)? I haven't found where this is possible in HubSpot.

Hey Nathan, thanks for checking out HubSpot Hacks! Depending on how you use HubSpot, like if you use line items, there are two properties HubSpot auto calculates for you. One is Annual Contract Value and the other is ARR. One or the other should work for you. We'd also be happy to meet and discuss your reporting needs. What is your recommendation for situations in which the demo or the discovery call got canceled? As not all deals go through that stage, I would think that this shouldn't be a separate deal stage. Should these deals stay in "Demo scheduled" even if currently there is no new date for the demo/discovery call?
@HubSpotHacks
@HubSpotHacks Ай бұрын
Hi Valerie, thanks for checking out HubSpot Hacks! Yes, we recommend keeping deals in the last milestone they met, even if it was a cancelled scheduled demo. For situations like this we recommend updating the meeting outcome and putting a note on the deal. If you have sales pro or enterprise you should enroll them in a rebooking sequence with a task to close the deal at the end. I hope this helps. Happy HubSpotting!
