With Jack Vincennes, the producer should have said "think Bobby Darin", because Spacey comes off more like him than Dean Martin!😶🌫️

Nice documentary. Would have been good to mention James Cromwell, the only central character nobody comments on but who is so good in the movie. RIP Curtis Hansen.

This is such a great film. It was robbed at the Oscars. I've watched it dozens of times and I never get tired of it. I notice new things every time I watch.

All the commentators are communists, so they would be the first to , one: disarm you. Two: endorse genocide, through abortion, and three, to start a war, as they've encouraged for years. Prove us wrong.

Dr. Strangelove is the most important movie ever, and even if it wasn't, it would be my favorite movie. The importance is that Kubrick, by creating this film, opened the eyes of so many people, including policymakers, to the absurdity of resorting to nuclear weapons. I hope people keep watching it. There are a lot of bombs out there.

Did they have to put Mac, and spick, in the rarratives? For one, they are both socialists, and two, they cause way more harm, than they're worth.

Let us not forget, Macnamara, sent men to Viet Nam, that were, indeed, "cannon fodder", the " IQ" levels of idiots, that didn't know their left, from their right! They were generally placed in front, as point men, only to be murdered by the Cong. He's got a lot of room to talk. Research Macnamara's men. Very enlightening.

Hello if you want to see the original trilogy you must know Georges Lucas completely destroyed the original movie version so it's literally impossible to find. But thanks to really dedicated fans, the original trilogy has been rebuilt and you can see it almost like it was then on this youtube video you have all the explanations and the download links : Harmy's Star Wars: Despecialized Edition v2.5 - Video Sources Documentary (short version)
@zoetropeguardianАй бұрын
I'm good. I'll respect George's artistic right to do what he wants with *his* films and understand the story he wants to tell how he intends me to see it. I have no interest in supporting vandalism.
@jeanfabien88Ай бұрын
@@zoetropeguardian The points of the despecialized edition is litteraly to see the movies how they were intended... The vandalism is what Georges did. The fan who did that litteraly just restored the original version of the trilogy. The version that was projected in movie theather back then.
@zoetropeguardianАй бұрын
@@jeanfabien88 Did they have George's permission? They didn't. He's the creator and artist whose vision Star Wars is. It doesn't belong to the fans and never will. George also changed the Prequels. Where is your outrage about the changes made to them? He can do with his films. Fans and corporations can't.

A video for the memory of James Earl Jones... he had a special voice and thanks to the sound engineers and all the crew on every set... and of course technology at the time THX made his voice legendary... and oh😊 CNN voice intro... so without his...why not attitude...you have the perfect voice for a character in this space movie...Luke would never known his father...aka Vader duh

I've seen much more brutal and harder films, but The Road shook me to the bone. Perhaps it's the extreme realism and hopelessness that this film exudes. A masterpiece that has perhaps received too little attention because of its bleakness. Yes, people want dystopian films, they want to see gang fights, chases and, even better, zombies. But they don't want to see a real scenario after the collapse of civilization.

This film should have been better. They miscast the wife and son. Charlize Theron does not work as the wife. Why would anyone go out to be raped and murdered? Her good looks take away from the film. The kid was to naive, weak looking. So, annoying hearing him talk. When the one scene in the film that you are in, gets cut. That has to hurt. I heard the book in very good.

I know this is just a story, but it made me go out and buy a good bit of ammo for my guns. It was just so gut churching and heart wrenching with that scene in the cannibal groups bathroom, or even in the beginning with the suicidal mother. This movie made me say I’ll never be caught so low on ammunition. What a simple problem to become so powerfully meaningful. Terrifying.
