“It's Dr. Evil, I didn't spend six years in Evil Medical School to be called "mister," thank you very much.”
@guymorris6596 Жыл бұрын
Your comment sounds like when I was in the Army during basic training in 1990. A few guys made the mistake of saying Sir to a drill sergeant. Oops ! He told them " Don't ever call me Sir because I work for a living. Only commissioned officers get called Sir because they sit at a desk and push paper. You refer to me as staff sergeant or simply sergeant will also be acceptable. "

It's been almost as long (20 years) since the last Austin Powers movie, as it was from the 1st Austin powers movie to when he's from (30 years earlier.) We need another one, it could be like Bond where it's a different guy; but Mike Myers looks the same so they might as well still use him.

Gotta say that Heather Graham and Elizabeth Hurley were extremely attractive when those Austin Powers movies were made... much more so than than the girls in the James Bond movies. They are eye candy, but the movies are so great that I love them mostly for other reasons as well... like the unending numbers of jokes coming up. I simply cannot get enough of Austin Powers 😂

Austin Powers: Spy Who Shagged Me turns 25! Made $312 million on a $32 million budget The In Like Flint reference was actually a real film from the director Shirley Bassey really did sing the opening song, funny since she she actual James Bond themes This one actually won an Oscar nomination for best makeup This actually opened on the day Deforest Kelly passed away too There's so many more hilarious cameos too from Woody Harrelson to Fred Willard to Rob Lowe to Kristen Johnson to Willie Nelson to Rebecca Romijn-Stamos to Tim Robbins Way more pop culture references too from 'Star Wars' to most notably 'Moonraker' The film is slightly more enjoyable compared to its predecessor; a lot more toilet and sex humor that's tolerable The character of Mini-Me practically steals the show with such a feral disposition and hatred of Scotty Mike Myers really expands his range playing 3 characters this time both good and evil I was laughing way more this time during the Jerry Springer bit in particular Sure a lot of this is very dated no doubt but it adds to the fun nature of it all given its a time warp back to when pop culture hit its peak Even going back to the 1960s manages to evoke a great time period of free love by also bringing Felicity into the mix The soundtrack provides many great hits too even the infamous American Woman by Lenny Kravitz The filmmakers along with director Jay Roach embrace the silly aesthetic with colorful sets and subversive takes on spy movies Great pacing, terrific laughs, and a sweet little romance to boot
