TIME AND PLACE PEOPLE TIME AND PLACE. Pit karate always gets such a bad wrap but when it happens in the place its supposed to its literally the most fun. Obviously dont be spin kicking people at a thrash or metal show , but if youre at a hardcore show ESPECIALLY a beat down show not only is it great , its encouraged by the crowd and band alike , been going to hxc shows for over 10 years and pit full of 20 dudes spin kicking eachother is great fun. I also go to grindcore shows and power violence but im not doing karate at those cause guess what TIME AND PLACE. This whole blanket no karate shit juts completely tries to ignore culture and history thats been around since the boston hardcore scene in the 80s
