as a dinki di Aussie I'm the proudest I've ever been to hear that the stunt blokes drove the Pursuit Special into town to get some beers. We have lived in the age of kings

I actually own one of those bonnet sirens used on the Victoria police cars. It’s a Skil-Sher wailing Joe. It’s mounted in my car and happily show and demonstrate it at car shows and car and vehicle events

to me, this car was just a cheap grab for cash.....Ford rejected it and dismissed it. It has no racing cred.

Great museum. Thank you Fletch and David. In regard to the continued use of solid tyres, it is worth remembering that horse drawn transport means … horse shoe nails left on the road!

Totally agree Fletch 4 door cars are becoming more popular it's a change from seeing the same old 2 door vehicles which are great but it's a pleasure to see family sedans and even wagons. Aussie Graham.

Beautiful vehicle...! One of the last HQ's, going by the seating construction, and the particular coloured cloth inserts. My dad had a '74 Kingswood sedan with a similar cloth ,on front bench seats. This magnificent vehicle is top shelf, and congratulations to the owners. 😁👍

Absolutely superb...! What a beautiful wagon, in near enough to perfect factory condition, if not better. A rare '3 on the tree' as we called them, manual tranny. What a cruiser. All credit to the owner/s.😁👍

The vx just looked better than the vt with the rear reflectors added in which mercedes, bmw, jaguar, porsche and other luxury cars are doing to this day; the silly red plastic in between the tail lights removed (wtf they aren't meant to emulate bloody corollas) to make it look simpler, neater.. the headlights with that nice dip shape toward the grille which looks more angular and taller, and the change in the lower bumper vent design to include two fog light sockets (maybe functionless but whatever). Took everything the vt had and with its very minor weaknesses, and then outdid it

Mr. Fletch, I was hoping you’d make it down here to God’s Country for an episode and it was a good one. I’ve been all of the continental United States, but all my blood and roots are down here; there’s no place else I’d rather be.

I was just going to type ... how good does an ordinary HG Kingswood look then a HG panel van flies through the scene. Love it. Kudos to the driver who threw those Chargers and Regals around - great driving cars not known for their chuckability.

I did my panel beating apprenticeship at Cordell bodywork’s in Hampton street Hampton starting in 1960 to 1965 they converted a normal FJ Holden into a station wagon before there were station wagons Stan Cordell was a fantastic man and I always regret that on completing my five year apprenticeship I left I have worked on all those cars and as a used car dealer of fifty five years have owned and sold most of them. I have no feelings towards any car to me they were only a dollar sign 🙋🏼🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑💸💸😃
