Another great episode, I my opinion, is the best era of Bathurst far more exciting than over controlled V8 Super Cars. I had many years of attending Bathurst on the mountain. It was great racing and fun that went with it....thirsty work on occasions 😅 and an era when the Brock, Johnsons& Goss had genuine time for the fans.

Allan Moffat. What a legend. So glad I spent time with him over a number of years on a number of projects. True gentleman. And Dick Johnson - had the chance to go for a lap with DJ at Bathurst in Tru Blu just before the great race. Put it on my channel as a great memory. 👍

"You're on the circuit" 🤣 He's told that one a few times i bet. Sad to hear about Moff,i'm sure he's getting the proper care. I remember Trickys crash in 1980 poor bloke.Great gesture from the public and the Deuce to get him going again.I grew up in the 70s and 80s the golden age of Australian motor sport. Tricky,Moff, Goss and co were my heroes. Thanks for the episode Fletch.

Hello Tony. I really appreciate the flowers and for you watching. It's nice to hear comments like this, it makes ME appreciate more what I do. I tend to head down, bum up, find the talent and film hard to build a product every week, perhaps failing to realise "what" it actually means to so many people watching. Again, cheers and thank you Tony, regards, Fletch.

That brings back memories. My first car was an XW that I made from two cars, an XW, and XY I got from a wrecking yard in Lismore

If any of these old cars broke down on the side of the road you could usually diagnose, fix and get going again. Nowadays if your modern car breaks down you'll be scratching your head as to which module has failed and need plug-in diagnostics.
