Hey Joe I’m starting a very similar 512 build and have a set of E-street heads on the shelf, what did you do to upgrade the valve train for the roller cam and RPM? Edelbrock says no roller and keep it under 5500RPM, trying to decide if i should jump straight to Trick Flows or upgrade these E-streets

@@FalconGarage if you have the budget, I’d go to trickflow. On these, I swapped to titanium retainers, double springs, and 10 degree locks to match. They’re still 210cc heads. It could definitely pick up from better heads, and max wedge ports

This is a cheap bunks copy from harbor freight. It’s a 1.8 tip for primer like this. I did two medium wet coats. Blocking soon

Joe, you got that car perfectly set up and it shows in your bracket runs. I can imagine it was a hot day, you were tired and towards the end your concentration was off a wee bit. Proud of you brother 👏🤟

This is a good video to get a idea. I want to build a motorhome 440 for 600hp. I have a bullet solid roller cam Duration @.050 256/264 with a .592/.592 lift and 109 LSA. I was gonna get Harland sharp rockers for more lift, i was thinking of getting trick flow 270 , 11.1 compression and max wedge victor intake.

Great job, so glad the rams and ricers were put to shame. Would love to see you in pure stock muscle racing sometime. As much as I like seeing non muscle cars and modern junk lose the all muscle races are way cooler. Local guy Dave Dudek rules.
