Today is a warmer day, and hopefully no snow until Sunday! The piece I used to pour the mix2mold through is used for paint pouring. I got it at Michaels Canada a while ago. I believe it is by FolkArt. And as for the SteamPunk stickers, I think I got them from Amazon.ca. Glad you like the piece.

Hi Natalie 👋 You asked what people in the south were thinking about the snow ❄️...Dunedin Florida checkin in. We didn't get snow but it's been cold most of January (high maybe 50-55F) and I can say this without pause...I dislike it, intently! 😂 I feel kinda silly saying that knowing it's been warmer here than most of the US but to a thin blooded Floridian 50 is COLD!! 🥶😂 While I paint 🎨 I usually watch other artist's videos unless I'm in a quiet mood. 😉 Love how the oval tray turned out! So sparkly ✨️!

my husband just got back from Florida - he was there for work - he said it was raining most of the time, but warmer than here and no snow - lol, the snow storm he came home to. It was crazy here yesterday.

Hi Natalie. I'm only 17 minutes into the video, but I wanted to say how relaxing it is to watch someone pour resin (epoxy, eco, uv, etc). Sometimes I get so relaxed I fall asleep (compliment), and I have to watch the video again to see how things turned out. As for snow, I'm in Upstate,SC, and it's not unusual for this part of SC to receive snow. But the low country of SC is coastal, and that's where the snow fell this time. So many places south of me received snow. It snowed on the beach. Isn't that crazy?. Anyway, back to the video. I pour in silence. When I'm finishing a piece, I may listen to music or have a KZbin video playing. It just depends on my mood. Love the finished earrings.

We had snow the last of it melted today. I did a video with my grandson. I did not want it, but I loved seeing my grandsons enjoy it, but I'm so glad it is gone now for it to get back into the 60s would be fabulous.

Hi 👋 I'm newer to your channnel and I'm not sure what was suggested for you to put on on the TV for your anxious pup but wanted to add if it wasnt suggested, an aquarium that plays continuously is helpful and calming. I have an SPCA rescue with super high anxiety and find this helpful. 🐶 Best wishes and thanks for sharing your wisdom. 😄🙏

thank you for the suggestion re my dog - we did buy a ball that has holes in it, we have been putting in carrots for her to get out, she has gotten too smart for it - lol - because it doesn't take her long anymore to get it out. And the interesting part, she seems to have settled down again, granted I haven't been using the mixer so that may have something to do with it - the one day when she was desperately trying to get my attention, i ignored her and she finally decided to lay down, if only she could tell me what was wrong thanks for joining my channel and i am glad you are finding what i am sharing helpful

I have the 12 pak brush tip and they work well. My granddaughter borrowed them so I bought her some for xmas, she's 5. She loves to paint and way less messy.

It makes sense that the wet wipe would take some of the marker off. Since they’re meant for cleaning skin, they have a detergent/cleanser in them.

Yes, those are pricy, but it's Sharpie. So not surprising. Thank you for sharing this information with us. I did get the last pens you demonstrated, I like those. Although, I got them with the dual tips, and I'm glad I did. They work well on the Mix2Mold after I've sealed it. I haven't sealed over the pens yet, but I think I will use a thin coat of spray sealer.

Glad you found the video helpful. I am not sure if I had seen the dual tip ones, I shouldn't be surprised that they would have them considering most do these days. Please let me know how they work when the sealer is added on top of them, I would think they should be fine, but I'm curious. : )

I like your idea. I actually tried measuring the resin on my scale once, I had quite a bit poured before it even started to register, so I went back to measuring manually. At some point I may look into getting a different scale, one that perhaps is more sensitive to weight.

I also measure everything pretty precisely but maybe you aren’t getting all the resin from the one cup to the next and considering how thick it does get. Just a thought.

I am pretty thorough when it comes to getting as much resin as I can out of each cup. I don’t pour one cup into another once I have measured the resin. Both part a and b are poured into a new cup.

It awesome watching artists pushing the boundaries… and experimenting with different techniques! I really appreciate you sharing your thoughts and ideas with us. I actually have some cookie cutters where I want a silicone mould of their shape… but, as they don’t have a base, I didn’t know how to do it… and I think trying what you’ve done, could be the answer. Create the shape in eco resin, then make a silicone mould from that. I am thinking that I’d probably want them a bit thicker tho… and, after watching you demould the lips, that may be a problem?!? 😂 I will definitely have to give it a go when I get my craft room back! ♥️♥️🇦🇺

the best way to come up with new ideas is to push creative boundaries sometimes, they don't always work, but sometimes worth the effort - like you, I had wanted to make silicone moulds using cookie cutters and couldn't figure out how, but making the piece first and then the mould, that would work, and then sand down any seams that appear before making the mould, good luck with finding a solution.

Completely understand about your puppy. Ours is used to being with us all the time. So when I do anything, he's got his bed under my table, and he has a special chewy he only gets when I'm working. So far it seems to keep him happy that he's with me and he's distracted by his chewy. Just like kids, every pup is different though. Loved the video, especially that deep blue. Just subscribed.

My vet is coming by today, I will have to see if she has any suggestions. She is bothered by loud noises, and the beeping sound that comes from the mixer, I have not idea how she is going to feel about the bubble remover machine, still haven't used it yet, lol. Anyway, I will figure it out, and I am looking forward to using both the pastel colours and the flakes, and hopefully don't get them everywhere!

Thank you for sharing the testing of these pens. As for sealing eco resin prior to adding color to the finished piece. I will always seal first now because I had some acrylic paint bleed, and I'm still trying to fix that piece. It's also easier to fix an error on a sealed eco resin piece. I like the fine tips on these, I may have to get a set.

The big green tree is still my favorite of this series due to the unexpected way some of the features interact. I like these little trees for their texture, and it's good to know seed beads work at this size😉👍
