Something other than terrazzo chips

I took another attempt at crafting a terrazzo piece, experimenting with some other products. One side turned out quite well, though it will certainly require a top coat of either two-part epoxy or UV resin. For the other side, I'll need to devise a creative decorating approach since it didn't turn out as expected. With luck, I'll have some intriguing pieces to share in the future, showcasing my decorative solutions.

I wonder if one or both of these pieces would be good candidates for Daniel Cooper's resin paper technique? Or perhaps paint skins? I had failure after failure in any flat mold under 0.4" thick. When I poured the little notebook, I reenforced it with embedded skrim tape.😉

Unless you use a lot of the glitter, and I mean a lot, you will need to place it on the mold. Even placing it on the mold, you need a lot as M2M bonds really well to the stuff. You will also need to sand. I sand for a bit, and leave it for a bit and come back to it. It's a process.
