@nataliadedios you are very welcome! You are truly talented, I wish I could offer you a job! But then I'd have to get into fashion which, my daughter tells me, would be very bad for the universe, lol.

doesn’t that take the fun out of knitting? i enjoy crocheting because of the time and dedication it takes

I haven’t crocheted before but I’ve hand knit and machine knit a scarf, and I had fun with both! The machine is fun for me because it’s another skill to learn

I’m not a beginner, I just hate threading this thing. This is the best hack ever! 😂 thank you!
@notsoheroiclink302012 күн бұрын
My recommendation it to not sew the new threads through actually! Pulling slowly one at a time and making sure the presser foot is up will provent damaging the tension discs. ☺️ Also most needle eyes are smaller than the knots, so those usually have to be trimmed and re threaded through just the needle. ❤ Perfect suggestion, just with a tip for safety added!

"cut and tie" method
@ItIsWhatItIs812012 күн бұрын
This is how to jam up your machine because this just doesn't happen with all threads and I wouldn't risk the cost to fix mine ..
@nataliadedios12 күн бұрын
this is a method I learned from several professors at FIT- I’ve never had an issue with it! sometimes the thread breaks before it goes all the way through if you sew too fast or your knot is not tied twice, but it has never jammed the machine. If the thread breaks, open the machine and re-thread as normal
@adoptedbythe1king12 күн бұрын
It depends on the thred and the knot and the needle 🪡 Sometimes you need to manually feed it through, and sometimes you have to cut off the knot once it makes it through all the tension guides and put the new thread through the eye hole

Hi! this video was so relaxing! Oh my 🙈 I watched this to help me work! 😂 Anyways, have you found an app you feel is better for designing than this? I'm starting to create my first collection and I'm so lost on what app is good to use, so many say what you did about this crashing 😟
@nataliadediosАй бұрын
thank you!☺️ I may have to do an updated review of this app! I posted this video last year but they’ve since updated the app and I’ve had no crashes since :) I would say this one is the best app for fashion design specifically because it comes with a ton of flats and stitch brushes (I don’t think I covered that in this video). And the figures included are soo helpful. I also use adobe fresco for drawing (it’s a monthly subscription but I already pay for photoshop, illustrator, premiere etc so it’s included for me). I use adobe fresco for drawing my sticker designs and stationary designs. Love them both, maybe I’ll do an adobe fresco video as well!
