This might sound like a stupid question because I don’t know much about it. Do Navy SEALs go through this first and then become a navy seal? Or is this a totally different program?

It is very similar. In prep they are all joined together, then when phase 1 starts SWCC and SEALs are apart but same base. They are very very similar training programs with much of the same evolutions, just different standards.

Cool video, but I do have one issue - the use of the term "Operator." Operators are Delta Force, that's it. No other group is an operator. The term comes from the Delta Force separating Operational Members from Support Members. Hence the term "Operator." MARSOC doesn't call their Marines operators, neither does Pararescue, Rangers, or SEALS. I figured the NSWC would have known this. Just my little pet peeve rant, carry on.

Worked with a SWCC, as a young E5 in Negishi (if you know you know), he told me go to college and helped me enroll. Happy to report I finished my college degree while on active duty. I never personally had the opportunity to thank him, but he changed my life forever. Thank you brother!

@@tjmorrs982 You have to pass a PST. Once you pass you have to pass a PST every week until you ship out. At least out here in SoCal

The Seal AOR1 desert and AOR2 woodland never should've been mass produced for sailors outside of Naval Special Operations Warfare. It made perfect sense that Sailors wore blue ocean camouflage.
