this grinder is horrible, to anyone coming to this in 2025 or later, spend some extra and get a better grinder. this grinder takes ages, is horribly inconsistent and uncomfortable to use, beans constantly fall out of the hopper while you grind, it's super super finnicky to dial in grind sizes on, etc. the only nice thing is the container the beans are caught in, but even there, it's comically sized considering how long it takes just to grind 13g of coffee, I would never want to grind enough to fill that container.

I dropped my crushgrind and the ring that the perspex container screws into came out. The ring does not seem to be broken, but I just cannot get it to fit in securely again - the minute I screw in the perspex cup the screwi-n rim falls out. Please help!t

the easiest way is leave the lid off so it can dry for a few hours. dump grounds in trash, remove remaining grounds with a cloth, paper towel or water. If you're really anal about grounds in the sink but don't want to wipe out grounds with a cloth, dump rinse water and grounds into a plant, outside, or into another container. I've been rinsing a tiny amount of grounds down the sink for decades with no issue.

I got one of these as a gift. I figured I'd try it. Seems like too much of a hassle just to make coffee but maybe this method might bring out the flavor. Anyways, thanks for the video. I'll give it a shot.

I now just add a modicum of H2O to my bag of whole beans, works perfectly, time saver. Nice to eliminate a step. Also Keep my slightly moistened beans in the freezer. Zero "flyby" static upon grinding. 1/2 Teaspoon per lb or so....shake it like a polaroid picture in the bag (Most of my beans come in nice resealable bags with the one way valves)

what setting do you use to grind the cleaning tablets?
@phyllisriley1013Ай бұрын
I got the virtuoso about a year ago and the settings are strange. I have to set on 2 for my technovorm coffee brewer. I had the virtuoso years ago and 12 was a good setting. I really don’t like the way it is set. Up. There is a video on changing the settings yourself but it’s just too difficult for my 78 year old fingers. It evolves removing and moving two extremely internet screws.

I just got mine today. When I ordered it, I was not sure about getting a coffee grinder. I have never owned one. Like so many people, I have a Keurig machine that uses the pods. When I got tired of paying for the pods, I bought a reusable filter that I am able to use my own coffee with. That saved me some money, and the results were better. Finally, after seeing some youtube videos and reading various comments, I bought this grinder. My first try produced too much coffee. I used half of the coffee beans as the first try and that did the trick. I used one scoop(the scoop that came with th grinder) of beans on medium grind for ten seconds and that worked perfectly. I could not believe how much better the coffee tasted. If you drink a fair amount of coffee and want to treat yourself, get this thing. The amount of extra work isn't that much and the results are so noticeable.
