Very uncertain and vocally weak performances. The background singers are awful, like porno actresses.

Anyone who loves electric guitar should watch this. The energy and tone, and Jeff's guitar expressions. I'm glad I saw him once. So truly devastated at his passing. RIP Jeff Beck the greatest rock player there ever was.

On y était pour cette grande soirée, soirée qui correspondait à son anniversaire à Jeff Beck. Top de le voir avec Jan Hammer... Exceptionnel le Royal Albert Hall Festival, très bonne acoustique. Merci de partager ce concert.

Everyone in Art One and Two will remember Jeff Beck walking into our class room to join us late in the year. He was a year older than us and stayed with us until we all left school at Sutton East Secondary School, which had an enlightened Headmaster George Mackley, who was an artist in his own right and who introduced and created a Art Section in the school for talented pupils. I saw, and witnessed the oil paintings put up all over the school, and made in the year above us, which depicted scenes from the Bible. Jeff's mother had convinced the Head to let him come in, as he was also a budding visual artist. I did not realise that like my mother, his mother was a trained Concert Pianist, and his Uncle who used to drive him in his sports car also had a radio in his car and he played Jazz, which Jeff would hear. In those days not all cars had radios. However Jeff wanted to get a guitar and learn to play it. He was taught piano, as I was by my mother, by his concert trained mother, so he had some knowledge of reading music and playing the piano., but what he really wanted was a guitar! One day he came in with bits of wood and wires and went straight to the back of the room and sat on the floor in the teacher's store room. I thought to myself, he will never be able to made that lot into a guitar! However, a few blues notes came from the store cupboard, and I have no idea how he did that! After we all left school we would have all followed Jeff Beck's progress in the papers and news through out his life. He really did well and his Mum and Dad would have been proud of him. He had good rules of life. I remember him telling off a boy in our class, who was boasting about money his parents had made. Jeff pointed out that if there were poor families in the class that would have made them feel dejected. So Jeff was wise, as well as a bit older than us. After this I always pricked up my ears when Jeff was in the news or later on on You Tube. It is a good place to catch up. I am very sad he has left us. I see him standing on a golden cloud playing his guitar!! Love Cynthia Allen-McLaglen

I will never forget this show. JEFF AND I Share the same B-day. Santana moved my soul, they were first. It was a perfect summer night and Jeff was in a great mood and signaled to the Audience " what do u want to hear, the crowd was dumbstruck and silent, so at the top of my lungs I shouted "where were u" he went right into it and played it so beautiful that everyone I could see was wipping tears from their eyes. Best evening ever.

Saw this tour/band in Oakland near this time, on Sept 24 2006…so good. Tal joined just a little later to give Jeff his finest modern-era group imoho. He always played fiery and great but everything seemed just a bit more magical during this era. Again imoho. I was fortunate to see Jeff live 20+ times between 1972-2022. Easily my favorite electric guitarist, the last guitar hero.

I went to the original tour for Guitar Shop in 1989, with Stevie Ray Vaughn. I never heard about this reunion, a great surprise. Terry Bozzio and Tony Hymas return. I had seen Jeff in 2001 for the You Had It Coming tour which was great too. He kept touring performing live for us fans. Thanks Jeff 🕉 🎉

Jan Hammer was channeling Jeff when he played his solos when they played Starcycle. Actually, I think Jan may have been channeling Jeff every time he played his keyboards after they got together in the mid 70s

Jeff Beck arrived at our school aged 14, - a year older than us. His Ma wanted him back at school. He was older, and so we were all in awe because of this. He automatically was the leader. One day he walked in during the break in the middle of the day we were waiting for the school bell to go for the next session after morning break. He went straight to the back of the room and sat down on the floor of the open store room with a bunch of paraphernalia, such as wires and bits of wood. The boys he knew the best, were at the back of the room next to him and they relayed to the rest of us that Jeff was trying to make a guitar. Guitars were very expensive, especially electric ones. I thought to myself,- no way is Jeff going to make that into a guitar!! I was correct but in spite of everything a few blues notes came out of the cupboard. Miniature radios, as far as I know had not been invented yet, so I have no idea how Jeff made those noises. However, of course we all know now that Jeff became a very successful and talented guitarist all around the world even South America, Japan where he was well known and successful. My favourite music from him is with Jennifer Batten, with his favourite keyboardist and drummer. I found out later that his Mum- was a trained concert pianist and his Uncle and Dad were fond of jazz, and so he heard the best Jazz. and all this would have gone into his musical memory and had a big influence on his music! That was why he was so able! Cynthia Allen-McLaglen
