use fake guns period. It's not like movies depict shooting accurately anyways.

Compare this to what happened with Baldwin. Real bullets in a real gun on the set. He pointed it at a girl and killed her.

Curious Question sir. How is there a Gewehr 41 wand a zf 41 scope in the catalogue the protagonist is holding while buying guns inside the gunshop? Its a semi auto rifle from world war 2 and story happened in the 30s. Either way. Still an awesome movie

Why were the Remington mdl 11 used so much back then, was it a cost thing over the Browning Auto 5.

Great video. It would be interesting if you made another video talking about the Colt SAA that were modified to look like Remingtons or cap and ball revolvers. It was common to see these revolvers along with these fake Henrys in the early seasons of Bonanza.

Of course, to make this 'Hollywood level ' would need to do the same stuff, but without ever looking at the guns. Just fixed gaze on an imaginary enemy. I actually think you might be able to do it if you're tried...

Well, clearly more work needed. My 2 year old can sling guns better than that, and I don't even have a 2 year old. In fact, my previous statement is in fact completely wrong and makes no sense. Who has gun slinging 2 year olds? If anything, you make it look *too* easy.

The scene in Lonesome dove when Gus smacks the Bar tender with his pistol now it makes sense that it was a soft rubber prop pistol because that is dangerous to swing a metal barrel that close to someones face and not injure them.

Clide had managed to shoot his way out of so many traps that Captain Hamer was determined he wasn't taking anything for granted. He may have cut some corners legally, but he knew that's what it was going to take.

The model 8 high capacity magazines were made in Saint Joseph Missouri by the Police Supply company. They made them in 10, 15 and 20 rounds Magazines. The person that formed that company later went on to form the Hillyard chemical company of Saint Joseph MO Which is still in operation today

Very cool, thanks for sharing. Definitely an arms room to envy. Getting the recoil operated guns to work with blanks is an impressive feat, hopefully no permanent mods that render the guns inoperable with standard ammunition. And just what was the story about the tin man armored suit? Seeing that was one of the few oddities in the film for me.

awesome video, i was wondering tho, in the armory scene Kevin is reading some sort of gun brochure, it allways buged me because on it we see guns drawing including one scoped gewer 43 and a M870 shotgun wich would have been pretty anachronistic for the time do you know anything about that?

Some of us have displays during events and for museums and event. We "have" to use dummy brass cartridges in out belts, either with no primer or spent primers. Is there a place for us mere mortals to purchase rubber bullets to use in gunbelts when we dont want to carry dummy rounds? Thanks
