I've seen you use both Colt and Remington clone revolvers is there an advantage one over the other? One more stronger or easier to tune over the other?

They’re both great, but the Colt has a better hammer to catch and cock. Remington’s a little shorter hammer.

I was wondering if it ok to spin the gun while the hammer is cocked on the first click ?

That would make the finger area in the trigger guard a little smaller, perhaps beneficial for smaller fingers. Obviously never spin the guns with with any ammo, so a cold gun, spinning on first click is ok. However, I wouldn't. At some point you will drop the gun, and it will land on the hammer as it hits the carpet or whatever. If it is on the first click, it will transfer the blow to the hammer notch and the trigger top sitting in that notch. May do some damage in there and bend stuff. If the hammer is all the way down against the frame, the blow will be just forcing the hammer flat against the frame and you should come out alright.

I started spinning only very recently and found it gets easier (less wobbly) on the first click. But you are right. It would eventually result in damage at some point. I do not have much time but I practice any chance I get. I have a fascination for these guns .They are simply beautiful. Pieces of Art. When practicing I get hit by the hammer at the lower part of my thumb, around the knuckle. Sometimes also get hit at upper side of my middle finger next to the nail. I saw in one of your demonstrations that you wear tape on the finger sometimes. Do you ever come to Canada ? Thank You again. Great talent and also great humor !

@@tonychrist1923 Hey, no prob. So I tape up sometimes my trigger finger at the joint where the trigger rubs around and around. Especially if I have multiple shows over a weekend. It helps prevent painful blisters, I use it as the blister starts develoing so it doesn't get worse-especially if I am out of practice and the callous is not built up. I knick parts of my hands as well sometimes. I take a file to the sharp edges of the hammer for that reason. Round them a little so it isn't as severe. Some guns come with some sharp edges! I haven't been to Canada in years. I went a few years in a row for the Calgary Stampede some time back. It was a blast.
