Do not try this with a Jackery. The Jackery reads that its charging off of Car and doesn't allow more than 100watts even using both inputs but allows 400watts solar. It shows a Car charger icon and has solar icon which i guess would allow more and cant find a work around. My 1000 V2 is 35 days old and can't return so its going up for sale. Also means you cant use a charger1 or Pecron Smart C which was the goal.

You have to get a lapdock that has wireless connectivity option. They are usually $50 USD more and can have latency compared to wired.

Great video! I recently did the same setup but wanted to add my two 200W solar panels in series. However, when I connected them, the inverter didn't detect the panels despite their 48V/10A output. After checking the manual, I realized the PV operating voltage range is 120-450VDC (page 40), meaning I'd need five more panels! While this may be a great solar charge controller, I think I'll follow your approach and use it as an uninterruptible power supply for now (which I've tested and works great). Alternatively, I might look for some affordable used panels. Previously, I used a 12V EPEVER MPPT 40A 150V Solar Charge Controller with both one, and then two panels, and a separate inverter. However, I prefer this all-in-one unit for its simplicity and integration.

Paul, I have been looking at 12 volt inverters to build a portable power supply but ran across this and it looks really quality and practical without all the separate parts which take up space. My question is for these 24 volt,if you use 2x100 amp batteries in series to get 24 volts, if I want to double my amp hours, I’ll need to do it in sets of 2, correct? Thanks

Do you have to connect your phone usb-c to lapdock in order to have dex or do you have to Bluetooth the keyboard and mouse then wireles to DEX?

How can you tell if a USB plug in device is class compliant ? I have a m-audio USB interface
@paulgallant8115
@paulgallant8115 10 ай бұрын
It's kind of difficult to find an interface that claims that it is "Class compliant" It seems that the Focusrite ones have a pretty solid track record as well as M-audio. Look at this article: www.creatorbeat.com/audio/audio-interfaces/choosing-an-audio-interface-for-linux/
@playinmyblues
@playinmyblues 10 ай бұрын
Have a look at the device’s user manual. Do a word search for USB class compliant. If you already have the device, just plug it in and if it works without installing any drivers, it should be USB class compliant. The Yamaha MG-10XU is a mixer that outputs stereo to the computer. It requires a driver to be installed on your computer to use it. It is not a USB class compliant audio interface.

I have the 240 and went with the B300 and have 800 watts of solar running the system - my concern is leaving the inverter on 24/7 to run the fridge. We will see how this goes - I can't protect the 240/B300 - the temps in the cabin run 14F to 125F - let the games begins. Like your set up and would likely do similar later but with an inverter not a solgen and use my solar, or new solar. I like the panels are getting smaller but more powerful too - don't have the real estate to cover with panels right now. So less being more is nice. Costs are leveling off for the short term, so I best bite soon.
