On a Carolina rig to help your bait float use the Carolina float. It is a bullet weight looking foam float that will help your bait float some, as well as help your bait thread through a brush pile or laydown tree, etc.

Menendez is a good dude. I marshalled for him at smith and was really impressed with him. He had a difficult tournament but I enjoyed the heck out of sharing the boat with him.

The EQs are trimming all the fat in the Elites. In my opinion the Elites are getting stronger, faster than the BPT because of the EQs.

Why can’t we just have tournaments divided into FFS and no FFS? Salt water and crappie tournaments are divided this way. That would end the drama.

I think the guys who are falling off is more to do with them not making adjustments and likely being a bit bull headed with the idea, “Well I always did it like this. I know it will work”, and riding that idea to the dirt. Which is exactly where they end up. It’s that way with all competition. If you don’t adapt and adjust, you will in short order, find yourself sitting on the sideline.

I've had great success both Texas rigging and whacky rigging, but I get most of the bigger fish especially in eel grass Texas rigged with a screw lock 3/16oz bullet sinker, favorite color in the Senko in green pumpkin magic your favorite candy (I think that's accurate) and the gambler 6" fat ace junebug blue tip as well as Hammionds Herring, got that tip from #mikeyballz Great tips! @TheBaitmanTv I’ve had more success on the boom boom frog than I have on the bigger brands like spro or booyah. I find them perfect for fast walking outside of the mucky snot stuff and they get bit pond hoppin down here in Texas.
