That’s a very creative idea! Though I think it’s very obvious. It creates a very visible gap. You can use a cr*mp instead. Your idea is more creative and fun though. I liked the video, keep it up

If you play cards without a dealer make sure every player at the table is a dealer, switch 1 by 1.

Dude. I’ve been doing this for half an hour. I get the value 5 card. Put the other 4 underneath facing the same way as all the others. Pick a card. Always random. Take the facing up card. Oh it’s not that one? Cool let me count to 5. The 5th card is always the 3 of spades. Always. Alfuckingways

"Flatten out your hand", he said ambiguously while hiding the whole motion behind the deck so you can't watch it.

One very unfortunate cut will ruin the trick. This should happen approximately once in 50. Tricks that rely on probability are stupid.

Mexican Monte is a legitimate (more or less) gambling game which was played in Mexico and the American Southwest in the 1800s, not to be confused with three card monte which is the short con game. The 'Mexican turnover' is a mechanic of three card monte.

It might be a bit hard to “read their facial expressions” while also looking for the upside down card. Keep this is mind when performing to not arouse suspicion

I'd sneak a peak at 10th and 11th position while doing a shuffle. Then write a prediction and have it on the table the whole time. Boom, the spectators two cards match my prediction at the start.
