I usually don't go for maths tricks because people tend to know what happened without knowing what happened but the false shuffles really do bring a sense of fairness to it all. I'm going to revist some other math tricks and see if I can include false shuffles to make them not look like maths tricks. Nice one

What if their name is longer than Tim, Jen and a Chris. For ex. Michael, Sandra and Anthony.

It wouldn't matter. They are spelling their names first and THEN you do the false shuffle/cut and spelling out their names again. The only issue would be if their names were longer than 52 letters combined. :D
