I bought the same kit but the silver plates would not fit the new bearing I had to grind a little off to get them to fit and when I wound the bearing back in I could not get the silver plates out. Not like the video shows, I have read on another posting of someone else having the same problem.

Whats the torque setting for the centre plate bolt where the plate goes into the rubber mount

That centre bolt is 50Nm. Make sure you make alignment marks before you separate the two parts, there are no guide notches to put it back together. Also, avoid using impact gun on that bolt.

Oficialmente, tienes que cambiar el tornillo. El par de apriete es 5Nm mas 90 grados.

Gen 2, wheel bearing tool. From memory, I think it's an 82mm, but check yourself before you buy.

They are good. Maybe a tad stiffer than oem, but still comfortable.

I changed my 4 injectors because jerking motor and fault code with injector around 2000rev/min. You need to find a set without 3 number on the body of injector because it's bad version (for 2nd hand) for new one normally it's work because they change it. Disconnect the battery for at least 15 to 30 minutes. (PCM was update) After installation, you need to have to relearn Knock with Forscan. After start motor and stay 2min with slow engine (normally around 900rev/ min. And 1min at 1200-1500rev/min. After go to drive car for 50km till 200km for learning PCM new values. And if it's not working, change correction factor in Forscan (it exist 3 possibly '4'-'5'-'6'), relearn knock with Forscan. After unplug battery for 15-30min. After start motor normally and wait 2 min at 900rev/min and 1min at 1200-1500rev/min And go for drive.

How much would this cost at a garage? Rough price?

Anything between £170 to £300. I spent £45 on the hub and £55 on the tool. Since then, I have used the tool once more, so the second time, I only spent about £45 for the bearing. You can get cheaper bearings, but I am not sure I would trust them.

I am using an air hammer to unseat the drive shaft from the wheel hub.

Y estos inyectores en el motor Lynx 1.8 TDCI Duratorq no necesitan ser reprogramados. Deberias informarte un poco antes de lanzar acusaciones contra personas. I am not sure. Check the location of the sensor port. Do remember, there are two sensors associated with this system., one for sensing the air flow temp and one for the actual temperature inside the cabin. This one is for the temperature inside the cabin.

@TeachDIY no it blows on all fan speeds it's heat but is some heat at higher settings but not as hot as I'd like probably thermostat

The injectors don't have a number per se, as you don't buy them as injector 1, etc. But yes, once installed, if you tell me that injector 1 has failed, I would understand that you are referring to the injector on cylinder 1.

I have replaced a ccouple of these injector as this engine came with the injectors series ending on 3. The only time I had to prime the system, was when I replaced the return line, but never for individual injectors.

Gen2 wheel hub tool. It comes in different sizes, from memory this one is 82mm, but it has been a while.

Late to the game, but I got this CPU to have fun with OC and it goes 5GHz on 1.32V. Seems like I won the silicon loterry with it. Now I'm gonna delid it and do direct die watercooling on it to see what can I achieve.

You must remember to oil the forcing bolt as it preserves the threads.

If you hear the bearing while ratating wheel by hand, they are worn as hell. Normally you hear them when wheel sre spinnig under the full load of a car. Nicely done 👍

I use FORScan to read faults. The engine went on limp mode a couple of times.

From the video, I saw that the old and new injectors are both Continental not Siemens. So neither Siemens nor Continental needs to be coded to the car ECM?

You know more than me. I know the original injectors are Siemens, what you saw in the video is what I got from the parts store and it didn't need programmed.

Thanks didn't think it would be this easy actually. Probably on a note I'd replace the injectors one at a time and turn the car over so that u don't have to reprime the fuel pump because I'm lazy haha. Glad to know that these engines make a lot of ticking as normal too.

Great video ! Really helped so I could have an idea to tell the garage what I thought the problem/noise would be . Unfortunately the discs were so worn they had to be replaced along with the pads so that the bearing ( just o/s) could be fitted . Thanks again for posting.

hi! I have a problem with my Ford Transit Connect 1.8 TDCi 81kw. namely, when adding gas or accelerating, the engine jerks until I let go of the gas pedal! and it happens very often. Is it the injector in question because it is quite wet from the diesel!
