IDK but I think it's pretty useless even if you are able to record who breaks into your car, because when your car's gone even with the footage it's useless. Maybe just to prove to the insurance it really got stolen.

Do you have a video on how to install the Viofo A229 Pro To the fuse box (have a radar detector hardwired to the mirror already) for someone not mechanically inclined. And if we got the battery cell how would you connect that as well hardwired as my 12V are already occupied. Connection the 3 way camera is already one thing but adding the battery cell?

Had thinkware u3000 for 2 weeks....first week thinkware had app issues, not able to add emergency contacts. This week ..... contacted them again, app grayed out icon to click to view footage. Thinkware says, they are working on it.......are they known to have app issues? Kinda disappointed so far.

I've using dashcams in our vehicles for over 12yrs. However, I too have been apathetic in updating our systems (though mounting is the reason). About 6 yrs ago I was side swiped in the parking lot of Cedar Point--never saw the vehicle and neither did the front nor the rear camera catch anything but the aftermath (rear camera). Luckily the kids in my truck and the other driver were ok. I swore I would install side-viewing cameras, but here I am 6 yrs later....

I'm trying to understand how the install works; looking to purchase a thinkware u3000, a long with the powercell 8. If I hardwire the powercell 8, will I still need to hardwire the thinkware u3000 too? Or since it connects to the powercell 8, then I don't need to?

Aren't the Thinkware videos always available on the SD card? And then they get wrote over correct? It sounds like the quality is diminished using the cloud service. I could be wrong. I'm installing U1000 tomorrow.

Honestly so so dear. I use a 2nd hand go pro 11 and the quality is fantastic. $170 I paid for it if u look at the chip in this dash cam then u will not pay the extortionate amount for it

How do I get my footage to override itself? Meaning if I have a 32gb sd card and it gets full, how would I get it to continue recording by deleting old footage to make space for newer footage? Mine just stops recording when full. Thank you for your time

I bought 1 dashcam from you guys and what I got what a refurb unit that was labeled as new and only lasted 6 months. Stay away from black box my car at all costs. 👎👎👎

The steering wheel says Honda. Why do people just put voices over videos. 2024 Subaru. That's a old Honda, they haven't spelled out Honda on the wheel for a long time it's just the H logo

I think that you are misidentifying the redundancy of the Honda CRV’s spare tire cover as a steering wheel in the Subaru. The video was originally shot in landscape mode, and then image fillers were used to display it in portrait mode.

I have a clear ceramic tinted windshield, would the heat blocking film need to be applied? Also, can I use a static cling film under the 3m u3000 mount to prevent the the tinted windshield from being damaged

The heat blocking film is designed to help prevent overheating, so if you live in a sunny or warmer region, it could still be beneficial even with a clear ceramic tinted windshield. As for using a static cling film under the 3M mount, yes, you can definitely do that. It will help prevent any potential damage to your tinted windshield and make it easier to remove the mount in the future without leaving residue.

J'espère que la conductrice de la jeep va passer un bon moment au tribunal, ce que je trouve curieux dans cet accident c'est que le couple présent dans la jeep n'a pas l'air vraiment stressée par l'accident, comme si tout se passait comme prévu. Je ne sais pas si c'est légal de rouler sans plaque à l'avant au Etats Unis, si quelqu'un a la réponse, je suis preneur.

i am using Mai70 x200 omni and has been hard wired...it has an auto off when stop using my smartphone app...there is 1 min...3 min and 5 min to auto stop all the way...does it mean that the camera will shut down and save my car battery energy from draining further...?

Hey there! The 70mai "auto off when stopped" feature is designed for people who use CLA or USB ports for power. Some vehicles have CLA or USB ports that are always on, which means a dash cam could kill the car battery if left plugged in and running, so this feature is meant to conserve battery by allowing the dash cam to shut down after a period of inactivity. Since you are hardwired, you can disable this feature and set the voltage cutoff on the hardwire kit itself for battery conservation. Using the "auto off when stopped" feature will only give you a few minutes of parking mode instead of several hours.
