Boy i didn't miss the stock pistol grip. The only bad part about owning this gun is all the online threads and posts saying i wont enjoy it as im thoroughly enjoying it.

My Mossberg 500 with this style grip hurts to shoot 3" slugs out of. But its manageable if your used to large caliber rifles, 30.06, .308 win mag etc. but ya. Be prepared to grip it and rip it, cause it kicks like a drunken mule.

She’s a bute! I’ve had my 1965 DS, Gen 2 since the mid 80’s. It game with the original wood stocks but I put a set of Packmyr grips on it (like yours) to better control/accuracy for when I carry it.

Sigh. Decades too late. That polymer stock and vented handguard would've been handy in WW2 and Korea. Even Vietnam.

It uses standard Beretta 92FS parts so best places are ebay, Beretta website, Midwest Gun works.. specialty parts or upgrade parts can be found at Midwest Gun Works, Langdon tactical, Wilson Combat.

Kahr makes a ported version of the .40 barrel that you can get if you're into shooting a 9mm or a neutered cartridge. Additionally Kahr makes a . 380 or castrated round for people without hand strength. Glock perfected it and Kahr simplified it.

That thing is super wide. I think it would be perfect for pizza delivery guys to transport pizza. Water bottle pouches? Seriously? On the other hand, for a Magpul stock equipped take down, it’s a giant piece of luggage. I would not take one for free. Why don’t they make a case half that height, and get rid of the panty material, and those 17 pockets. It looks like a kid’s book bag, and is marketed to the Lego-transformer Demographic. Seriously, make a bag that the take down will slip into. Ditch that whole backpack nonsense. A couple of small d-rings with a removable strap, or no strap provided. Put a carry handle on the end of the bag. Make it Small, compact, slip under the seat size. Serious, it needs to fit in small places under the seat, behind the seat, in a compartment in an aircraft, boat, SUV, etc. Seriously, what are they thinking 😮

I have a late 1957, 2 million serial number, all numbers matching, Chinese Type 56 that was imported by Century Arms in 4th quarter 2012. One of the first batches imported in from Eastern Europe (Albania), according to CAI. It has a trench art Star cut into the stock. It's been carried a lot, judging from the battlefield wear on the metal.

I had one for years and carried it daily. Finaly, my friend hagged me into selling it to him. I have always regretted letting it go. The only problem back them was there were only two ammo choices. The old 246 grain lead round nose and a 200 grain lead hollow point load. I carried the latter.

Good afternoon, from here. For that Parabellum 9 mm didn´t nedd a different cilinder, but just an adaptor for the same cilinder. That is what made it so interesting and almost unique. If you find that adaptor, then you will have a very good collection peace. The old brand has been unfortunately sold to Switzerland.

@ClassicGunReviews
@ClassicGunReviews 7 ай бұрын
I think they're both good guns and reliable. It probably depends on whether a person wants DA/SA or purely SA like the Hi-Power. If a person had a BDM that's great, otherwise I wouldn't buy one because parts are difficult to find since it was only made for 8 years and magazines are expensive and difficult to find. It's a good gun so enjoy owning one of these rare guns.

Bought my G42 used. When it was in my hands I had no issues shooting win white box or Precision One 90gr HP/XTP. But when my girl shot it, it failed to extract. She couldn't get through a mag without a failure to extract. I cut her some slack lol that day at the range was her first time to ever shoot, or even hold a gun. She limp wristed my M&P 9C 2.0 but that didn't give us any issues. She limp wristed the G42 and it was a whole different story. I carry the G42 loaded with the Precision One loads and I trust my life with it. Carry on, have a great day.

Thanks for the great info on your experiences with it. I noticed if I didn't really grip it good it could malfunction on extraction, especially when shooting weaker ammo. Yes, I guess the best thing to do with these small .380 autos is find some ammo that works and stick with that ammo only for carry.

@ClassicGunReviews

Sorry for the late reply.. Plus P ammo wasn't invented yet so these are not +P rated. It won't explode or anything but will eventually loosen up the cylinder to frame etc...

What is the third method of loading? Only two methods were demonstrated.
@ClassicGunReviews
@ClassicGunReviews 7 ай бұрын
Hi.. the 3 methods of loading are: 1. Use stripper clip inserted into top of bolt carrier 2. Push each round one at a time into the internal magazine from the top. 3. Turn gun upside down, pull lever back to open bottom of magazine, and drop 10 rounds in facing forward then close bottom of magazine.

Hi.. I use Birchwood Casey Aluminum Black to touch up the aluminum frames on my Sigs as you noticed and also my Beretta 92's and 96's on my channel. On the SIG frames the color matches perfectly and the Beretta looks great too.. my Beretta 92 Centurion 9mm video has a Beretta that had lots of the wear to the frame but looks much better in the video. The Beretta matches really well also.
