What was the cause of the misfire? I have the same codes

I just replaced the valve gasket on my 2005 Chevy malibu 3.5 engine after picking up my car from the mechanic. I noticed my car shaking like crazy, I was told that I needed to replace the sparkplgs and wires, which I did that myself. The shaking never went away, and I have a misfire on spark plug #6 . I took the car back to the mechanic, and 4 days later, I'm still waiting for my car because he can't find the problem. Please, please, need help. It is my only car right now and I car and I need it for work. Any idea of what could be the problem 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

So I finished this job yesterday . Yeah , it was rough. Anyway there are tricks I figured along the way that would have been faster if I had known in advance. The bolt under the alternator I got off with a 12mm socket and tool that the socket goes on. On this tool you can make the socket go straight out. (I wish I had a photo) Any way the handle of this tool will fit under that square box thing( I think it has something to do with the ABS )opposite the alternator . Then once the socket is on the bottom bolt you can turn the whole tool with a wrench. The water pump I bought was a cheap one from rock auto I bought and had in my parts hoard. It came with a paper gasket. I used pertronix red sealant on it only because the sealant was brand new. It's suppose to work good. I put it on the gasket (just a thin film) & put the gasket on the engine 1st. not on the pump. One other tip I wish I had known. As you know there is very little room doing this. After you get the pump on & before you put the alt. back on lay the pump pulley on the pump without bolts. Then you can install the alt. I ended up having to take the alt. back off just to get the pump pulley on. Also before doing that take a sharpie and mark the pump and the pulley where the bolt holes line up. I also had to do this while the two were already in there. When I tightened the pump bolts I just used a real big screwdriver I have (about a 1.5 foot long ) and jammed it against two bolt on the front of the pump to tighten the bolts.

I am wondering if you used anything on the waterpump gasket like sealant or do you put it on dry. I had to install a new belt on my '05 tc before and had a hell of a time installing. I now find out there are 2 belts recommended , a 1935mm (the one I had trouble with) seemed too tight . I'm thinking that is why my water pump went bad. Too tight of a belt ruined the bearings. Anyway , I'm changing the pump now with a 1940mm belt and hope to have less trouble.

Hey! I’m seriously considering doing a “restoration” on my 2010 Toyota Camry (4 cylinder). It currently has 260,000 miles on it, and I plan on engine swapping it with a lower mileage engine as part of the restoration process along with some cosmetic work it needs. I wanted to know about how long did it take you to complete your engine swap?

You don’t want that much water at idle in the header. You will kill the exhaust valves

thanks for the video, im considering doing the cam chains and water pump on my 2008 CX-9 3.7 because it is making a rattling sound on start-up. I noticed after listening to yours startup after doing the cam chains that it makes the same noise as mine. Im now thinking that noise is related to the flywheel/starter. what are your thoughts on that noise? Thanks

I just stuck a screw driver down along side the bolts of the pully & broke each one loose then used my fingers to remove them. My shaftbof my screw driver was squared off & not round.

How did you get that top bolt out all the way out of the tensioner. Mine hits the wheel wall & won't come out.

I am almost done with this job but I've spent 2 days trying to get the serpentine belt back on. Did you have any problems with that? Using the old belt, its like 1 to 2 inches short even with the tensioner loosened all the way.

Where did you mount the battery ? I’m finishing a 1954 Chevy 5window with 6.0 swap. One of the last things I’m finishing is battery location and building exhaust.

Peak through the internals of that used engine with endoscope to minimize bad purchase n better if they can provide compression readings for each cylinder.

trying to take my starter out of my car taking of the left side convert. i don't feel like taking out the motor mount just to replace a starter

hello im having a issue with my 2016 Chevy Traverse Lt AWD drivers side convert only 2 nuts and bolts 13mm I got one of but other one no matter what I do i put a 13 mm wrench on the top bolt 13 mm deep sock on the nut still nothing its sprayed with. PB blaster i thought i had it when putting the wrench on it but not sure what is going on wish I had a Grinder wheel cut it right off get new nuts and bolts for it

i ended up stumbling upon a shaft from a 2001 xj. i ordered the 3/4 dd to 1 inch dd. bored the 1inch side out to round. welded and shortened shaft. i have a 68 with the one piece steering column shaft. im using a square body steering gear
