Think you need to do it when you're rebuilding the engine. You'll need to align the 2 oil holes as well. 👍

Question about fault timing chain adjuster, do all CBR1000F hurricanes come with it or just a particular year? There's a 1991 CBR100F in good condition near me and i'm interested in it but worried about this issue
@jonyr1TT23 күн бұрын
I think all the cbr1000s have that gravely sound coming from the front of the bike.
@sopmodtew839922 күн бұрын
@@jonyr1TT I went and test rode it today but ended up not buying it because it couldn't hold idle when warming up even with the choke fully pulled back, it rattled from the front and also because it was very heavy. What a bummer, it looked good and ran good after being warmed up 😔,it just wasn't to my liking...

@jonyr1TTАй бұрын
Sounds interesting. Do you have any ideas as to what's wrong with it?
@extremepowercleanАй бұрын
There's nothing wrong other than the things that will have gone with age, I know the brakes are seized on like yours were but it was mot'd and ridden but then put away when the kids were born and not done anything to it since. I've bought the tyres, brake rebuild kit and new hoses, oil etc but haven't got the time atm to do it (or the knowledge if I'm honest) 😂

Ok yeah sounds right up my street if you want to drop it round and your not in any rush I probably would be able to sort it out for you at your cost of course.
